I love how Percy is happy and excited for Christmas. But what makes me love him here is how he has a heart big enough to keep on going. He thinks of his friends, the carolers and being home for Christmas. Where as Spencer is just acting selfish and he behaves like a Scrooge. But the words of Percy's encouragement make him realise his mistake and goes to help out. The last part is the part I never expected to see. The story just goes to show just how much Percy loves and cares about his friends. Well done, and a Happy New Year :) .
This was a sweet story! A minor thing that I liked was that Duck was pulling Autocoaches/Alice and Mirabel. We don't see too much of them in the fandom these days. I miss them.

I Remember seeing a Story about Jinty & Cranky nearly 6 years ago, it’s been such a far journey and to see you come back with a bang is wonderful! This was a lovely Christmas Story with an Interesting Combination, I Can’t wait to see your next Idea
The Duke and Duchess need to let Spencer spend more time with the other engines and possibly help out on the railway, so he can learn how to socialize more and have better interactions
They should also get him used to either shunting or yanking trucks. They don't have to be dirty trucks. He could pull either the circus train or a fruit express
This video alone reminds me of an episode (from season 15 or 16) where it was also about percy and spencer battling the elements of the weather. except it was fog and not snow.
Funny you should say that - I use the music from the episode (Spencer the Grand) when Spencer goes out to find Percy for the second time! Whilst the idea for this story came from a completely different place - I was inspired but a few bits of Spencer the Grand... which is insane because it’s from Series 15 😂
