I'm honestly surprised how close that Williams keep up ngl. Kind curious how it does compared to the rest at other tracks, as long as DRS is not allowed lol. Also, maybe you could have 2 F2004's for these comparison vids, except one has modern slicks, I wanna see how both a stock and a slick tyred F2004 will compare to the rest
This track only has 3 "real" corners for modern F1 cars (Lesmos 1 and 2 and Parabolica), the other "corners" are flat so it's all about engine performance and whoever has the lowest drag. And because top speed hasn't increased in F1 in over 40 years (quali- trim 80s turbo cars could also hit 350 kph on low downforce tracks like Monza) it makes sense that the 90s Williams could keep up. Had this been a track like Silverstone the 90s car would've been thrashed.
BINGA!! Don't get me goin 6270. I literally wretch at all this ''Netflixification'' of our once brilliant sport. Last month, Verstappen called out all the rats at FIFA & Libertry on their fake woke Net Zero transition to the save the planet with all these fat bloated 1.800 kilo+- 15.000 RPM - lithium/ Cobalt/nickel mined Electric humming -bird sounding lawnmowers. 3 US races on two fake tracks..F* France, F* Germany....and if we let it...they will kill the Empress, Monaco, by 2027 as just some old and archaic joke who's time has long passed.
BTW: A full 31-lap (310-km) race here (using the tyres and refueling rules of the respective seasons) would be VERY funny - the F2004 would win by a GIGANTIC margin because the only potential "competitor" (the W11) would run out of electricity VERY often.
Just a poor setup on the F2004. Its top speed was a joke. And WTF was 1:31? Slowing down for no reason? On THIS track, it would make fun of all the other cars. Even on the crippling grooved tyres.

2004 would win a 5 lap race easily, aldo the 2020 car has most records on the single lap, it would not be able to make all 5 laps with max push like the 2004, so i see atleast 1 second bether pace per lap for the 2004, plus it had tyres that could be pushed for 15-20 laps at max pace, what the Pirellis cant do.
No, it means the older cars are more suited for a track like this. This is all about TopSpeed. The modern cars have a lot more downforce. We don't use tracks like this anymore.
Here I selected the cars not by type of engine but by the degree of relevance within each decade. And if we talk about the V8, it is in the Tyrrell P34 and the Lotus. Thanks for watching.

Certainly the ERS factor of the W11 would be a strong point only at the beginning, but it would harm it until the end of the race
