• Shruti started her career with Star Plus channel horror show Ssshhh..Koi Hai in the year 2001.
• Later she was seen in TV show Maan (2001-02) as Khushi.
• Shruti got immese popularity by playing the lead role of Jiya Malhotrain fantasy sitcom Shararat which aired on Star Plus.
• Subsequently, he appeared in Indonesian TV serials like Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand,Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr,Rishta.Com,Baal Veer & Many More.
• In 2017 she played the role of Priya Rajeev Gupta in the serial TV, Biwi aur Main.
• Recently she played the role of Bhavini in the serial Dil Jaise Dhadke... Dhadakne Do.

• She made her film debut in 2003 with the bollywood film, “Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II.”
• She is probably best known for her role as Fatima "Fatty" in Fanaa (2006) with Aamir Khan and Kajol.
