I can relate to you so much with the ring tone, text and emails. I'm very busy all the time with my work and I go fishing as well to catch peace of mind. Even though business is hot, just the sounds of the phone triggers anxiety, stress everything because u know its something that needs to be solved. I ended up turning my phone to silent, ya I miss calls but I'd rather call people back later and even miss out on some opportunities because your health mentally and physically is your biggest investment, after changing to silent I will never go back.
And I feel guilty if I turn off the phone. Thank you for watching.
Back home in hawaii plenty people still use bamboo cane rods everywhere from 4ft-15ft. Common size is usually up to 12 nowdays but still in use but different target species

Lmao, yes I had that happen, at Barrier. I drove all yhe way down there, got all set up, waded out, casted and snapped my brand new rod. I did not have a back up because I spent so much money on it. I thoughtght to buy 2 Lami's or one G Loomis. I had to pack up and go home. They guy at Outdoor Emporium downtown, after some discussion replaced it for me free.

Yes..Steelhead don't seem to bother me but... when I was having that reaction I didn't eat anything from the river. Now that I think about it, crawdads made me sick too. Thanks for watching.

Every time I see a bamboo pole all I can think about is how my grandpa only fished for crappie with his personally made baboo pole and absolutely kicked our butts every time
