- Just the raw footage from our successful Khan Tengri expedition during July / August 2018. We made the summit, would be just after 22m20s in, but I never got any footage, just a few stills (It later transpired that I had my finger over the lens for all the summit photos I took of Jason, for which I'm sure he'll never forgive me!).
I know it's needlessly long, just skip through the boring bits! Might be useful for anyone planning to go there, or just anyone who likes looking at mountains.

Awesome. Yes I remember you! It's a beautiful mountain, definitely worth a second attempt. I'm sure you'll get the summit this time (if the weather's ok!).
One of our team from last year will be on Ismoil Somoni this year (his 4th of the 5). I'll be trying Nanda Devi East in a couple weeks.

Thank you. The video we intend to make is going to be all about the mountains, its beauty and majestic scenery. There will not be any direct promotion of any product or service. However we intend to publish it on an account of a small artisanal business, so in that sense, it could be a gain, strictly speaking. Awesome footage! How long did it take you to get from the saddle to the summit?
Actually can't remember so I could be way off, but I have a feeling it was about 8hrs!

Glad it can be of use! We flew into base camp around 25 July '18, and flew out around 12 August 2018.

Is there a sherpa?
No Sherpas. It's normal not to use Sherpas in this part of the world. Though we were heavily reliant on the fixed ropes placed by local guides at the start of the season.
