I've been in a relationship with my girlfriend for the past 9years ,when i met her I was in active addiction I had been using smack(brown sugar) last 13 years even though I stayed clean for 2years after my second treatment but soon I relapsed and my girlfriend also got into heroin addiction along with me even though she had never used any kind of drugs or mood altering substances before but since 2018 she also fell into the vicious cycle of addiction this year we both decided to for treatment it's her first time and now we both are in recovery clean for 5 months ..
One of the best couple and its very inspiring story..iam a recovering addict.keep coming back it works!👍👋👋

REHAB isn't the entire solution... The problem isn't the addiction, it's the problems that lead you to addiction which no Rehab can solve

I went rehab 5 times but you know im still alcoholic. It dosnt matter whethe you go to rehab or not but its your heart will. If you can control your heart and mind then you dont need rehab. Its just start and ends with you and within you. Its in your hand my opinion
Your absolutely right buddy💯.. What really matters is YOUR WILL POWER. if you dont have strong will power, no matter how many times you enter a rehab, you will relapse again over n over again. Its gonna be useless...
There is no will power if u have consume more it will become an illness , so to that disease we have to take precautions through medication on time and if the disease is healed then there's a relapse on this period then to fight not to fall we have to stay firm and we need the WILL POWER to end this suffering ....
Addicts have no control over his will power. All he could do is a complete surrender of oneself to the higher power(God). I am 52. Rehabs 21 times. Spiritual retreat 18 + times. Geographical change several times. Prison 7 times. Period of addiction 1988- 2008. Sober till today. Rehabs is of course a steeping stone towards recovery. Keep it guys. Goodluck.👍

I've been staying on recovering for 1year & a 2months. So sudden the disease active n it come out of no where' soo wow now i just petrefied haven't continue for the counting.. Hmmn bu now te I'll just have to stay strong n keep on hope up. Also I just need some support n help.

They're not recovered Addicts FYI. Addiction has no cure so no one can be recovered. Im an addict as well but not recovered and can never be as long as im alive. Im recovering everyday and will be till death .
