- To celebrate American Independence Day we would like to share this video of coming home to America after completing Sebastian's adoption- we had a very special experience of witnessing Sebastian officially become an American citizen when the wheels touched down in Houston, Texas on our way home to California. To make it extra special the flight attendants made an announcement to all of the passengers on the plane and treated us to cookies, champagne for the grownups and special drinks for the kids and everyone around us cheered- it was a day that none of us ever forget. Our family considers it an honor to work, play and live in a wonderful country that so many families have sacrificed for in order for it to be a safe and free place and we reflect and honor that with this memory.
