How on earth could this be your FIRST observation of someone objecting to male infant/adolescent circumcision?!? The many "Intactivist" or anti-circ groups are comprised of [1] direct "victims" (regardless of the age of the circumcision), [2] families of the various victims and [3] people (males and females) with common sense and intelligence recognizing the barbarism. Since 1996, the American Academy of Pediatrics' FULL reports, inclusive of its 2012 full report, reaffirmed in 2018, has been suggesting/recommending that MALE INFANTS AND CHILDREN BE LEFT INTACT so that THEY (the male person possessing the subject penis) can make the decision when/after THEY reach adulthood (age 18) and THEY can sign the surgery consent form themselves. The common damages of male infant/adolescent circumcision (i.e., meatal stenosis, skin-bridges, horrible or misaligned circumcision scars [offsetting the Raphe], twisting/curving in any direction, early onset of E.D., etc.) have become "normalized" over the years. These risks are virtually absent when Adult circ occurs. To be clear, there is a marked DIFFERENCE between circumcising the UNDELVEOPED penis of an infant/adolescent and circumcising the DEVELOPED penis of an adult.

No, it wasn't for males that they changed the name but for females and that is a good deal of the reason for the discrimination. Although I'm naturally happy when kids are saved from the cutting norm by enlightened parents the real issue is the state's failure to give boys the same legal protection as girls. Parents have a responsibility to care for their children but where they fail it is ultimately the state's responsibility and that failure is far worse and particularly when it encompasses all states.
to be honest I've never thought about anybody being upset with the decision to be circumsiced.

Well i got circumsised because of medical reasons... I didnt even had an option
