I love the detail of Gullytuft's fur being more rounded and soft before Possum left, like a visual representation of hardening herself in response to the loss
I know it's absolutely noticeable from a mile away and i am definitely not the first nor the last one to take note of it, but I ADORE the detail of Possum's eyes never being shown !! Not even in the flashbacks !! I interpreted it in several ways, such as Gully deeming him a traitor and how that has completely changed her perception of him, to the point where she holds disdain even for his younger self, or her trying to forget and repress any good memories she has of him, or maybe even her thinking she doesn't know him anymore, and that he's dead/a stranger to her, possibly in an attempt to try and get over her grief and anger easier, because betrayal hurts more when it's done by someone you love and trust; could be all three at once !! Whatever it is, it's GENIUS and the care and detail you put into your art through just symbolism ALONE is stunning !!!!
I like how while she's seen tearing up a lot, she never let's it spill/never actually cries. Shows how hard she tries and holds herself back in order to keep her reputation.
Aww they’re so sweet! I never thought about Possum’s family and how they were affected by him leaving. I love the simple style this has! Now to zoom over to the next one.
Makes me think of how she completely ignored and went past Mudpaw in the Garden animatic. Does she ignore him because she makes him think too much of her brother, being his son? Did she ever even tell him she's his aunt? Regardless, I love this!
The animatic / Animation gave me so much lore about your warrior cat oc's! at first i though gullytuft was some old lady that had a weird backstory, but now i understand how much pain she has gotten through.
These partner pieces make me wonder if we might see any more of Gullytuft, and potentially her relationship or lack thereof with her nephew! In the Tiresias animatic, the description mentioned that Mudpaw was treated differently by his clanmates (As shown in other videos too) - it makes me curious if we might see their perspective on him, or get further insight on their thoughts/feelings like here!
I wish Gullytuft knew soon about Mudpaw's trucha (not the one he's a killer HAHAHAA) Curiously how she react, angry at Mudpaw for being the child of a traitor, not only to the clan, but to her or happy to has another member of the family in the clan
