    Got my gene and blood test through 10X a month ago. Life changing information. It’s not about hating on modern medicine, it’s about getting information. Get the data. Know what’s going on with your body.

    Great interview and congratulations Stephen! As a physician, I would tell Gary to not beat himself up for not being able to spread the word on diet health sooner. In too many instances, patient education will not matter. Everybody knows smoking is bad for your health, but have people stopped smoking? I tell about 90% of my patients to improve their diet with keto after giving them education on food and diet (even give handouts), and after 6 years of doing this if at least 5% of my patients followed my advice I'd be shocked. In fact, even the majority of my staff who have heard me harp about this for years and see me discuss the importance of keto diets and watch me go over the handouts with patients won't even follow the diet. People don't want to give up their rice, their pasta, their bread, their doughnuts and bagels, their soda and fruit juice. I've had family members in literal, terminal health crises that I urge to go keto and you would think that even if there was a 1% chance it would save their life that that they would take a doctor's advice from the family and do it, but no. Gotta have those potatoes. I congratulate all of you who successfully pull yourselves out of the high carb trap and improve your health... for free.

    Stephen A. Thank you so much for making this interview happen! I'm a huge fan of Gary's work and I'm a biohacker as well. The information is necessary. Also, as a writer and journalist, loved your book Straight Shooter. I wrote a book in the same style as you write, A Spontaneous Life.

      I appreciate what you're saying, and I live by that motto@@desordenpublico but when it comes to health and longevity, and the fact that not everyone has money to waste like Stephen A Smith and Dana White, it can impact a persons life.
      Here's another way to look at it. If we were just some run of mill influencer on social media, it wouldn't be a big deal because every gym and every social media app is flooded with this stuff.
      Gary differs in that he presents himself as an expert whose opinions (and that's what they are because he has no medical or scientific training) are not just opinions, they they're fact. He tosses around some words and phrases he memorized and has a basic understanding of a lot of basic health topics and comes off as someone whose advice should trump the advice of the real experts. In fact "Trump" is the perfect comparison, he's the Trump of health influencers.

    Hands down one of the best interviews you have every done! I have never heard Stephen A be so quiet LOL. Powerful information! I have been on getting my health back on track. Started at 230 pounds and I'm at 197 pounds in 3 months! I did this by eating a whole foods diet, drinking nothing but water and whole milk, intermittent fasting and exercise. Gary validated a lot of the things I know and I learned a few things from this interview. Health is the most important thing in life! Thank you for this interview Stephen, congrats on your transformation, you looked great brother!

    OMG every video I watch with Gary I hear something that applies to me. 50-30 years ago when salt and fat were bad, I consumed minimal amounts AND had migraine headaches. sometimes for days, all I could do was lie in a dark room and wish for death. Id be throwing up and getting dehydrated making matters worse. I also had "RA"! I looked into paleo and other low carb diets, brought back the salt and fat. No more headaches. In fact, almost never sick at all.
    Following the conventional food guide and conventional medicine nearly killed me several times. If the side effect of barefoot walking and swimming with my dog at sunrise is being extatically happy to be alive, Im okay with that! thank you Gary for all that you do.
    As well, I think you look very fit and healthy which gives you more credibility in my books.

    as a qualified doctor I can personally vouch of Gary's knowledge is cutting edge and is more in line with what medicine should be and how practitioners should treat patients, treating patients more holistically, The issue is most doctors do not update their basic knowledge on an ongoing basis and therefore often the advise is outdated. More doctors need to show initiative and treat the individual rather than treating symptoms and masking disease.

    Gary, you are so right about panic attacks. My brother had severe panic attacks; his Psychiatrist made him into a zombie giving him all kind of psych meds. His Internist saved him; he tested his blood twice and found he had Pernicious Anemia. All he needed was B12 shots every month and my brother never got another panic attack again. After a few years he got cancer and died 2 years after his diagnosis. I wonder if those drugs gave him the cancer. One of them was risperadol!

      @jophielortiz 9 місяців тому

      Why Kyrie?

    • @wildub5261
      @wildub5261 9 місяців тому

      @@jophielortiz Because he crushed Kyrie for making certain personal health decisions, and now he's literally following the blueprint. I'm 1,000% sure that Stephen A's trainer made the exact same decision as Kyrie. I did, as well, and have had the same lifestyle for approximately 7 yrs. Basically, he's teaching the late Dr. Sebi's and Clint Ober's lifestyles. Another source of mine is Dr. Bobby Price, along with my 23+ years in the Air Force in the long and short range radio/satellite communications career field. Understanding how food and environmental factors affect the body, can prolong our lives. Kyrie knows some things about that, but chose not to divulge them because many people that don't subscribe to healthy lifestyles like this, reject and criticize certain decisions people make without trying to understand why they make them. Not once did Stephen A say that he tried to talk to Kyrie during that time, to understand why he made the specific health decision that caused him not to play home games during the national health crisis. He didn't criticize LBJ for the same decision because LBJ wasn't forced to in LA.
