Rasender Roland und Molli 2013

On our trip to Germany this year, we revisited the narrow gauge lines on the Baltic coast. On both lines I tried to focus on locations that we hadn't covered on our previous trips in 2011 and 2012. On Rugen, we didn't get beyond Binz until this year, and on the Molli, the street trackage just beyond downtown in Bad Doberan was torn up the last two years, and we could not go beyond Heiligendamm last year because the railway was closed for maintenance. While the weather was poor for sun part of the time, the damp conditions enhanced the steam effects from the locomotives. I especially liked watching the vehicles dodge the trains on the Molli. Enjoy!
