Not only this video but a lot of your videos, mock tests, tutorials on roundabouts, crossroads, meeting traffic, etc. It really helped me. God bless you always. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. I took my Practical driving test two days ago at Morden and not from the area. The examiner took me through this same route! I passed, first time!
The Driving School TV I did! I was able to see the speed signs exactly where you said they were, I took it calmly and relaxed. No need to rush, the examiner was though, but it was my test! We even had a long conversation, I remembered you saying they are good people.
When you pulled up on that left and parked up at 27:00. it was emotional for me because that is were I got my results that I PASSED ✨ Right exactly where you parked up at the tree that was the exact spot. Good luck to everyone in their journey and on this similar route. You will all pass too. Just stay focused and watch these Morden Sutton videos. We know the area well, we just have to keep calm 👋

Thanks so much. Test at Morden coming up so this has been so helpful even though we've been driving along all these roads. @@DrivingSchoolTV I passed with 8 minors!! The Rose Hill mention was really useful as I went on the roundabout 4 times on the morning of my test. Thanks for your help!!
The Driving School TV forgot to mention, i got there nice and early and then someone comes out to tell me that my examiner has called in sick! It’s now booked for next tuesday.
I just started learning to drive and my instructor already hinted that I should try and do my test at Morden centre and avoid Mitcham, lol. My brother passed in Morden 13 years ago as well so I thought I’d take a look. Thanks for the video!
@@DrivingSchoolTV Oh cool! I'll be sure to aim for that then, lol. Plus Mitcham is literally down the road from me. Thanks again for the great videos! 😄
Hello, thank you so much for these great videos! It is sooo helpful! I have my test in a month and I was just wondering if there is no motorway at Modern route?
Great video, are you able to wave cars across in the middle of a manoeuvre, example parallel parking to allow them to pass? Or should you carry on and finish?
You can't signal cars to take an action with your hands or by flashing your headlights. You can only raise your hand to say thanks. If a car is waiting for you then proceed with your parking 😊
Thank you for this video. Can you do a new one please? i am currently practising and noticed on some streets the signs on the ground are so fade it is impossible to see them
any specific tips for that route? will be doing it in a few months hopefully as i’m halfway in and feeling fairly confident it’s just the small details
Hey Umer! Yes that would be preferable but the position of that moped made it difficult to go behind so I decided to go in front. It's important to practice crossroads a lot so you can make that decision quickly! If, for example there's a bus where the moped is you'd definitely prefer to be in front of it like where I was!

Your drive was good... but i might have either given you a driver fault or noted your observations at that meeting situation with that bus pulling out. Even on the clip you could clearly see (quite a way back), the bus was indicating to pull back into the flowing traffic to pull in front of you, you didn't seem to slow down quick enough.
I prefer 11.11. it feels like a lucky number .And its after when the roads are busy from school traffic and before people get back out on the roads for lunch
When you're turning right positioned in the middle of the junction and you see your light turn red it means traffic coming towards you has also gone red so they're stopping. Also if you're in the middle of the junction (passed your stop line) then the red light isn't controlling you and you shouldn't wait at it blocking the junction.

@@DrivingSchoolTV thanks but if you are emerging from that junction to green lane do you indicate left to get onto green lane and then right to get into the central reservation or can you just indicate right at the junction since it is a one way
I had my test on the 3rd of this month. My test route was leading to Chessington, Claygate, Surbiton and then Tolworth. I did this in 35 minutes am impressed with as I was confidant and showed no signs of hesitation. I kept within the speed limits 60s, 50s and 40s and did two round a-bouts with the sat nav and then three more with one double round a-bout with independent driving. The last part of my test was bay parking, the examiner did not let me finish my manoeuvre and told me to put on the hand break and put it in park whilst abruptly jumping out the car knowing I never showed any indication that I was finished. My foot was still on the break I was still making observations for my adjustment. I ended with a serious fault that was not my fault. I later then read everyone’s reviews about the test centre and I do feel like I was discriminated along with others. The pass rate for minorities at Tolworth test centre are low.
At the start of your test the examiner will tell you your test will last 38-40 minutes. That includes all the stuff beforehand like eyesight check and signing forms etc and the feedback after. The actual driving will be around 30 minutes.
@8:30 I failed my driving test for going nose to nose on this exact route at morden. Examiner told me I had to go round the back of the cars not in front
I got my next test in 2 days hopefully I pass but not sure if I should go in front like in the video or go behind the cars and then right like the examiner said
This one is easier round the back. But Nose to Nose also works. I went Nose to Nose because the moped was positioned a bit too far to my left and I’d have to steer left to get passed, potentially into the path of traffic going straight that’s passing me… also the black car had left enough room by stopping early enough to go Nose to nose. I would suspect that a fail for going Nose to Nose would be because another car who got there first was positioning for an around the back pass and you’d misread it and obstructed them. It’s just about reading the opposing traffic and complying with what they’re doing if you get there later than them. Buses can come against you on this junction and they definitely can’t pass round the back so always position for Nose to Nose… hope this helps!
Hi Francis, At 7:00 when you are pulling off from the right side of the road I notice you only checked the right side mirror, but didn't look over the shoulder. My instructor always insists I do 6 point observation (R. Shoulder, R. Mirror, Front, Driver Mirror, L. Mirror and L. Shoulder). What would you say is correct? Zach
It depends on the level of hazard on the pavement. If the pavement is dead I wouldn’t say check it. If you’re moving off from Oxford street then blind spot check for sure. It’s how I teach everyone and it’s how everyone drives too. Your dad wouldn’t 6 point check 😆

Today is my test in Morden 🤲
Good luck Urooj! Let us know how it goes 🤞🤞🤞

Good man

Yes it is!
Wish me luck test is tomorrow
Just wondering how long to the tests last on average ?
At the start of your test the examiner will tell you your test will last 38-40 minutes. That includes all the stuff beforehand like eyesight check and signing forms etc and the feedback after. The actual driving will be around 30 minutes.
About to have my test tomorrow 14 hours remaining. I’ll update if I pass, otherwise deleting this comment.
😅A bit late but Update looks like I am keeping the this comment as I have passed. Alhamdulilah
Haha congrats man well done!!! Amazing and thanks for the update :D
Going into bus lane on test stil risky
brother how to contact you can u tell me plz
@Francistheinstructor
@8:30 I failed my driving test for going nose to nose on this exact route at morden. Examiner told me I had to go round the back of the cars not in front
I got my next test in 2 days hopefully I pass but not sure if I should go in front like in the video or go behind the cars and then right like the examiner said
@@pandaarts1064 how did you get another test in 2 days? Hope you did well
Have U figured out how to know if it's nose nose or around the back? I'm confused lol
@@DrivingSchoolTV thank you so much. I'm watching all your Morden videos. Ur a legend
Hi Francis,
At 7:00 when you are pulling off from the right side of the road I notice you only checked the right side mirror, but didn't look over the shoulder.
13.00 needs to be 10 m away
Lol cherrrrrs I'll get my ruler out next time 😉
