This mission is pretty simple, but there are a few tricks that make it easier when starting off. The Hunter Call of the Wild mimics reality in that you start off as a beginning hunter with amateur-level skills and a weaker weapon, making it more difficult to complete missions. This gets better with time, but the tips I share with you make the game easier and missions more enjoyable.

You should be able to, but I don't own a PS4, so I don't know how to do it.

Now the mission after this is where I'm stuck at. Where it says travel to Chellah Lake and harvest a coyote and complete th coyote harvest check. I can never see a coyote in the boundaries of the Chellah Lake area
This is a hard mission. It's been a while but if I remember correctly the dog comes into the zone around midnight. It might have changed since then though.
It's very worth it, coyotes are really hard to get diamonds.

Great content! Is the scent eliminator spray useful in your opinion?
I honestly have not been able to detect a difference. Wind direction and noise seems to be the main things to pay attention to when stalking.

I don't understand why she wants me to use .270 ammo (class 4) on a coyote (class 2). I have other simultaneous coyote missions and this is gonna make me fail them when I could get them all at once. Damn things are hard enough to find. How is it you passed the harvest check with the wrong ammo?
The harvest check is constantly evolving. Personally, I think it is a load of bull based a bunch of pedantic people's"Ethics" of how they think people should hunt. When I first started playing this game, they did not even have this whole harvest check thing. When I am hunting for fun, I use the Air Rifle for everything. Lions, Bison, Red Deer. I drop it all with the air rifle.
@@thetexanhunter I don't mind it because it adds variety to the game, but if you're gonna have a harvest check, how are you gonna have a character make me violate it?
Sorry, I failed to explain properly as I got interrupted. The game did not used to have this Harvest Check Option. Some of the missions were created before that feature was added, so they require you to do things that they now penalize you for. There used to be mission that specifically required you to shoot animals in the head. I think they got rid of all those by now. I guess this is one mission they still have not updated. The Devs, really focus most of their attention on developing new regions because that is what brings in new money.
I know this an old video, so don't burn me on that. I have about 300 hrs in the game a recently came back and started doing some missions. I'm decent not saying I know everything lol but you were looking in the exact place both times when you spotted both coyotes. How the he'll did you do that?😂 I'm a level 60 with all recamended skills and even with vocals giving me a rough idea of where the animals is am I missing something. Don't get me wrong I usually find what I'm looking for but you seemed to know where the animal was before spotting it .. like almost exactly? And coyotes are extremely hard to find in dense woods... but you did very easily.. on the first kill you said "there he is" before you spotted him and it's so dark you couldn't see him lol just so everyone knows, I'm not saying this guy is cheating. But on computer there are cheat engines you can buy to cheat at hcow. Not on console like what I play on but 100% on computer
LOL! Sorry, I am not laughing at you, I am laughing because you are mistaking a voice over recording for a live recording. You have to understand that I may play the game for hours or days to complete a mission, and then go back through cut out only the critical footage to create the video with. I am not talking while I am playing because I do not know what is going to happen and when. Once I the finished video, I then do a voice over recording to explain what I am doing in the video.
I just assumed everyone understood that this is how the video was made. That you thought I actually made the video live and completed it in a short time is funny to me. No wonder you thought I was using some kind of cheat. 😂
@@thetexanhunter ahh that does make more sense lol I understand videos are made that way but didn't realize this particular video was. I knew it was edited because there are clear time cuts but the biggest thing that made me confused was how you seemed to knew right where the animals was through all the dense forest and darkness. I've hunted my share of coyotes and they are notoriously hard to spot in dense woods especially at night. I guess you just have a sixth sense or are a jedi or something 🤣
