You open your eyes to see one of your friends, eyes glowing red, standing at the foot of your bed. You feel an almost overwhelming urge to look into their eyes, but you had read enough horror/fantasy books - you know you shouldn't. You scramble out of bed and race for the door. Your friend attacks, pinning you to your bedroom door. You shut your eyes tight as you feel their warm breath on your face. There's a scream - it takes a moment for you to realize it's coming from you. You can see the red from underneath your eyelids. There is no escape. Suddenly, your friend's weight leaves you. You open your eyes slightly to see a dark figure fighting your friend. You take the opportunity to run out of the room. You sprint down the stairs and enter the kitchen, only to see your mother with glowing red eyes. You back away, only to hit something. You look back/up and see your father with the same red eyes. He grabs your arms and holds you in place while your mother slowly approaches. The urge to look in her eyes is back. You try to resist, to close your eyes, to turn your head away, but nothing works - you look deep into her eyes. Everything goes red as you feel the control you have over your body leave.
