Hi Karen! The colors now on Fred are very pretty. I like your thoughts on hoops. It makes sense using a hoop not bigger than the size of your hand. So, a 5" hoop would work. Good to see you Karen! I tend to stitch vertically too and thought I was doing it wrong, but have been doing it so long, I can’t seem to make myself change it. I don’t however, stitch in hand, and envy those that can do it. I usually use a pretty tight q-snap in hand or attached to my stand with the q-snap attachment. Fred is amazing!
You looked cute sitting there at the retreat in your scientific goggles 💕 So excited to see Fred so close to being finished, and very happy to have found you stitching on him with us again!

Hi Karen. It would be nice to see more stitch with me videos while you finish out Fred. I watch stitch with me videos from Nicola Simply a Stitcher. Sometimes she puts music on in the background and other times she does ASMR style where there’s only natural noise in the background. Just some suggestions for you so you don’t have to come up with an hour long video worth of talking if you have nothing to share at the moment.😊
Was thinking the same thing. Would help me stay on track to finish. I watch Nicola also😁 just need to figure out how to add music for a whole video that is ok with youtube.
this is being stitched on 22 cout hardanger cloth I use a ballpoint needle size 26 and if I use a tapestry needle it would be a 26 bohin. hope that helps
I did use PK but have changed over to Markup R-XP. I actually like it better plus it gives you more information. Should note i use Markup on my ipad. It runs better. To glitchy on an android.
Why yes it is. It is a weavers needle. Which is exactly the same as the ball point needles. They are c.s.osborne weavers needles size 55. And i got them at Allen richard textiles ltd. You can buy them bulk. I got the size 55 to see if they would accommodate size 12 pearl cotton. I do love stitching with them
