WHEN I TELL YOU I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW THE TUMBH NAIL. So I was an exchange student in Japan last summer and I stayed in each of the prefectures in Shikoku Japan with 4 different host families. It literally was the best thing I have ever done and so sad when I had to leave. I was so happy to see you went to visit.

Stores refusing service in Japan is so weird. Ive been to Japan (Tokyo) twice and I’ve been refused service. So damn weird
I’ve seen signs in the US that day they have the right to refuse service but rarely hear it actually happening. It’s pretty common in Japan though.

@@paledangels they are very cheap and easy to buy so sometimes people will grab one from the holders if they weren’t prepared for the rain and then leave it in a different one. 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️

Love everything about this! The self service thrift stores are a dream, the impulsive traveling and making friends from abroad and lil grandmas, the craziness of taking in whatever you are going to be doing as it comes. Also you look SO GOOD in the little top, it suits you so well! 😍

Naoshima!!! Naoshima was also my favorite solo trip. I loved it so much I went a second time and hopefully will go a third time to go to Teshima as well. Truly a vibe and great for solo travelers.
you should try going to Yamaguchi City!!! Had soo much fun exploring and it was my first Japan trip!

I moved from Tokyo to Yamagata this year to take care of my father, and in this city where there are almost no foreign tourists, I live a simple life that is the complete opposite of Tokyo. However, this city is rich in nature and the air is fresh. There are birds and wild animals that are designated as natural monuments, vegetables grown in clean water, and Wagyu beef raised stress-free. The food seems to be better than in Tokyo. Also, even if an earthquake were to occur, there would be no worry about a tsunami, and this area would be less affected by radiation from nuclear power plants.
i hope one day i get to travel like you!

for the under eyes... use almond oil or castor oil and gently rub under your eyes for a few at least 2 minutes every night. gets the blood flowing... they will improve a lot but not completely.
I'm Japanese and used to live near Takamatsu! Many used clothing stores have no employees in Japan, but Japanese people don't steal products. I don't know why lol
