- Safe Home premieres January 9th on Hulu. Fleeing her public relations job at a high-profile law firm, 28-year-old Phoebe Rook is looking for meaning in her life. When she secures a job at a free legal service that helps people escaping domestic violence, she thinks she might have found it. Tasked with securing the center’s vulnerable funding, she quickly becomes entangled in the complicated legal and personal dramas of the lawyers and their clients. But you can't escape your past forever. When people discover there is an investigation into misconduct at the firm she used to work at, the journalists start circling.
I watched this when it originally aired (May of 2023). One of the best thriller/dramas I have ever seen 👏🏻

Should a safe haven for assualt victims have a public access elevator? I work in condos with fob only access elevators or places where the security must let you up after making sure you allowed to work on that floor. These women are at risk in the elevator that goes to their location has both free access and NO GUARDS AT THE ELEVATOR TO CHECK EMPLOYEES IN!

Why they make so many two season series, this days?
It's an Oz show, Australia tend to do limited series, or not have as much money and bandwidth to produce longer seasons.

Well, at least it appears like a more realistic TV show than most.
Far better than LO:SVU, which featured 0 of the MASSIVE unresolved (true, fake? corrupt certainly) cache of rape kit cases in the state of Michigan (D). What a scam most TV and Movies have been since probably 1950 (if not before) to be honest. (Kinsey: 1948. + 3 years for first batch of movies? 1951 would be when it began to go downhill after Kinsey's anti-science corruption in the name of sexual anarchy gained SO MUCH *un-earned* respect from corrupt media & academics (and artists).) We haven't lifted the innocent. We've condemned them before the guilty in favor of the guilty. Yeah, I'm sick of it. Let's see if this show does better.
