Yea they were , but they needed shooters , they had good defenders but not shooters still tho they probably could’ve won in 2013 if Westbrook didn’t get hurt or 2015 if KD didn’t get hurt

@@jonathanfit7532 But OKC was built on the premise of having KD + Westbrook spear head the offense while having an athletic defensive backcourt to disrupt almost any defense due to their size, length, and switchability (3-1 lead against the Warriors) + kill the other team with rebounds (beat 67 Spurs in 6). Replay game 6 10 times, and OKC comes out of that 8/10 times and probably wins a ring that year. Shooters don't grow on trees, and they would've been able to retool and get enough assets to make a Westbrook/KD/Horford/Adams + Sabonis/Oldaipo (or PG if they still make the trade) roster which would've been contenders for another 2-3 years.
