This video brought a fat smile to my face. Your groove and playing! I’m still a student and I been jamming with some buddies. Looking to buy this amp and now I’m convinced!
Nicely done!!! For some reason, (most likely, because people need to run with the crowd and what’s popular), but for those of us who can still think for themselves, I think it’s a great little amp!! People try to punk it, but for the size, weight, portability, versatility, price, and quality sound, it’s definitely worth a look!! Your demonstration was excellent, and it was just the tip of the iceberg!! Even though you used a quality bass to demonstrate, that amp can make just about any bass sound good...if you know what you’re doing!! Of course there are better amps out there, (nobody said that it’s, “THE BEST”! if there is such a thing), but it’s still no joke!! Thanks for this post!! It’s been about three years since I’ve owned one, but I think it’s time to get another one...just for back up sake!!😊
I really like this series of Fender amps. I have the Rumble 100 with 1 12" speaker. It works great for the little trio I play in. Plenty loud enough and only weighs 22 pounds. It also has the exact same controls as on the 200 and 500 that you are playing on. So many tone options but I never use the overdrive, as I like the clear tones of this amp At 69 years old it is so easy on the back to carry around. Really some nice playing your doing and thanks for the nice demo.
Fender needs to give you a commission. I WAS interested in purchasing this combo but based on the reviews I've seen, I was turned off. After this honest review however. . . I am owning this for 2019! You addressed everything i wanted to hear. Side note, I also own a Sire Marcus Miller (M7)... so i know what to expect.. Great job man!!
I've seen several reviews for Rumble-series amps. This review tells me more about what the amp can do than any of the others. Particularly liked that you took the trouble to isolate the effect of each control. Thanks, man. (I own a Rumble 40. Except for the horn and the power, that little thing can do almost everything you demonstrated. Great series of amps.)
Bully Bro I love this amp it fills up a club without it straining the amp,, I play my American Fender Deluxe 5 and man it growl hard even though I would love to have the Rumble 800 I opted for this one because of the natural tone of the bass and your review also was a contributor. I playing it tonight for a benefit
This amp must be Beastly. I have the Rumble 100, and I absolutely love it. It's exactly what I wanted in terms of Sound-quality, power-output, size and Weight. Fender hit a Home-run with the Rumble v3's - oNe LovE from NYC -
Great playing brother! I think that the Rumble 500 v3 is one of the best bass combo amps ever released. Two things I hope that they include on a potential v4 release are: 1) an LED indicator light at the gain stage to allow one to adjust the knob to the “sweet spot” 2) a Pre/Post switch to select the desired setting of the DI. With those, I think it would be PERFECT.
Had the Rumble 200 and loved it. I want this one to gig with. I don't want a modeling amp, just some thing to dial in my own tone. I only use a compressor pedal and tuner pedal. This would be perfect and you're nailing some good sounds with this combo.
I have to agree with you that this is a really good combo bass amp for the money. I actually (like you) have been looking at this amp. But I am going with the Fender 2x10 speaker cab only because I have an amp. BTW, I too have a Marcus Miller (Sire) V7 jazz bass and it is great! Right now I'm not feeling the sound of your P/J bass. I had a chance to play that bass and it do it for me . Good demo! To me, to get the best sound out of this amp,try placing the gain between 9 & 11 o'clock, and the master at 3 o'clock and all of the tone controls at 12 o'clock.
I'm waiting for a 2nd gen P7, swamp ash in white blonde and your videos have been giving me peace of mind while I wait for the month or more for them to be restocked. The "Drive" sounds pretty nice.
Thank you for playing your B on this sample. I’ve been looking for a good light, gigging amp and I think this one will work. Im in Nashville - I saw a video of you playing and I thought maybe you’re from Memphis. Anyway, thanks for the vid and sharing this.
the first 4 10 cabinet I ever got was a the fender 4 10 and I had a 250 watt hartke head pushing it and I played alot of shows with it and it held up well . I couldnt complain at all ! but now that im not in a band anymore I just got a little ampeg ba 110 combo amp with the ampeg analog bass preamp pedal and that combination sounds excellent with my Jackson JS3Q concert bass with double humbuckers . the poor little ampeg cant really handle the power that my Jackson bass got . I got passive humbuckers but active EQ . but its just a little bedroom practice amp but I wish I would've been more patient and got another ampeg ba 115 . but when I get back on my feet with the money then im going back to the hartke
I've been checking this out along with the ampeg counterpart combo with the 2 10's @450w. After watching this, you've pushed me over the fence on this amp and ima have to get the Rumble 500 combo, cause this thing is Fire Hot, Baby.... I mean Blue Flames Burnin Type Shit. Great Job, Brutha. 😉👍🏿
Thank you for your review! I really enjoyed it. Recently I bought a Sire P10 and I am looking for a new amp for practice at home going well with P10. I am thinking 'bout ordering Fender Rumble 40 or 100. Do you think it will be a right choice?
Hi there. I just got myself a brand new Sire V7 ans was considering the Fender Rumble 500 combo - rehearsals and small gigs, various styles. Would you still recommend it ? Looks like a great deal... thx !
Allen Brown would love to, but over my budget. Also I guess when it comes to bigger venues most if the times the amp will be miked through the PA system so I guess 350 / 500 with extra cab will do for now. Thw for your time !
Does the sound quality change on depending what rumble amp you get? I currently have a rumble 40 and I can’t decide if I should upgrade my bass or amp. My bass is a squier 60’s precision for 400 dollars and idk which to upgrade for higher quality sound
I’ve been rocking with the 200 1x15 model for over 3 years now. Really wish I would’ve went with the 500 2x10 model to start off. Anyway, sounding good bro.
Hey, just discovered your channel yesterday. My fiancée (fiddle, cello) just took up the bass so we’re trying to get her set up. The rumbles seem like the best bet for her cause they’re light and they really seem to be the most user friendly and easily controllable as far as EQ. Real simple. If you have any other recommendations (we’d be looking at the 40 or 100, small farmers market gigs with a P.A. at MOST) we’d love to hear em. Other question is, I see you’ve got a speaker and a horn on that. If we just got ahead of some kind and put it through a wedge P.A. speaker that has a 15 inch speaker and a horn, would that be any different than an amp? Any reason not do it? Thanks man.
Man ooooh, that base boost was smooth like butterscotch!
4:58 let me just make sure the house doesn't collapse from this
I love the way you, when you crank the lows, start looking around the room for stuff to fall off the walls! Sounds great!!

Thanks for using a 5 string. I always wonder how those smaller combos will handle that low B just to find a bunch of reviews with 4 string players.
I run with the 100, and it handles my active 5’ers, especially the low B!😉👍
You got me cracking up when you added the bass, brilliant informative honest videos as always, long may Bully the kid reign.👍 UK no1 fan
just Me i was scared man... never found out was rattling

Expect some fantastic tones and then some. I have one and play a 2015 deluxe p
I was really on the fence about this amp or a Markbass one. This just sounds so good I can’t justify the Markbass price. Great review!
I'm in the same boat

When you turned on the the horn...🔥 Just ordered.
Dude!! Those sing. I love the tones I have gotten from them. Amazing amp for only about $500, can’t beat it.
Bully thakid rules ..love ur enthusiasm n grooves.. right on brother.. will have this amp at end of month
Great review, thank you very much for taking the time to upload!
Bully, thanks for the demo. Enjoyed your playing and commentary. Will be considering getting the 500.
Great demo. The Rumble 500 combos are pretty amazing. Thanks for the vid!
I got one coming UPS. Should be here today. I have the 1x15 cabinet waiting in the wings to go with it. Can't wait.
Your timing is impeccable - just when I wanted to hear more of the P7! Nice video, sir.

you still liking the amp?
These fender amps have probably the best on board drive channel around
Thank you for the great demo. I've been umming and ahhing but you've made up my mind for me. Thanks man.

I watch this video and went bought the amp the next day. Now I'm waiting on a 115 extension cab and my new bass rig will be complete
Sittin' at Sweetwater in FORT WAYNE waitin' on the doors to open, get me that 115
I got the 800 2x10. Not the Stage. Glad i waited. The 500 is great but this 800 packs a huge punch.
Love the rundown and stepping on the horn.

Nice work Mr B... Have lots of fun with it
this man lifts the whole thing casual, like he's showing you a box of sneakers lol
been eyeing one of these... might just go for it after hearing you
Mr.Parker on bass. Sounds awesome.
Just bought one of these. Great review man. Loved it.
I know this is a amp demo but its also a good show of how finger style articulation makes your sound as much as a good rig.
Sick! ... looking into the Rumble 500 as we speak ... thanks for this!
I have to agree with you that this is a really good combo bass amp for the money. I actually (like you) have been looking at this amp. But I am going with the Fender 2x10 speaker cab only because I have an amp.

Hope to get one in a few weeks , at my age i need something with power and able to carry about.
I'm waiting for a 2nd gen P7, swamp ash in white blonde and your videos have been giving me peace of mind while I wait for the month or more for them to be restocked. The "Drive" sounds pretty nice.
GK seem to have more power but the Rumble had a more natural sound, just my take. I'll take the Rumble.
Great review! Thanks for playing so many different variations so we get get a good feel for its range.
The amp does have an nice tone, the Fender Rumble 500 is funky.
This is a perfect combo gigging amp it will be on my wish list.
Great review. Fender needs to have you do more reviews. Fierce playing!!!
That marcus miller looking slick brother
Great playing! Thanks for the demo. ✌️
I can’t believe how light that is... bully made it look like he carried a bag full of grass
Bro I'm so happy I pick up my ray4 bass tomorrow all I have to do now is save for a starter bass amp.
my favorite setting on the rumble 500 is bright and contour pressed on
I just picked one up. Waiting to get my bass in a few months. It sounds like its gonna be a good amp for my music man. With the horn on its so sick!
i really enjoy this vibe of your videos
btw i got the fender rumble 100 and it makes me pretty happy!!
I use the rumble 40 110 at rehearsals and the tone is crazy good. I use GK combos at live gigs but I think I'm getting one of these asap.
Thats how all rewiews should be made 👍
Congrats, sweet amp! Lol! Man that's really full, oh the tweeter isn't even on!
Great review and awesome playing!
Thanks mate.
Great review mate !
Just got this amp myself, love it so far
Can you make a bass collection video
Charles Cooper sure
Just got one myself mate and great playing and great demo. You rock
Thank you for all your posts. Enjoy all the vids especially the Sire ones. Any Aguilar videos coming ?
Maybe when i can afford both the cab and the amp yes
You'll get there bro. Looking forward to those.
In your opinion, which is better sounding, the rumble 800 or the 500?
800 easy
The new amp is packing some bite! Great stuff Bully
Thank you for playing your B on this sample. I’ve been looking for a good light, gigging amp and I think this one will work. Im in Nashville - I saw a video of you playing and I thought maybe you’re from Memphis. Anyway, thanks for the vid and sharing this.
Good stuff kid.
Love your videos. Always fun to watch.
William Anderson thank you
@@BullyThaKidd just got my rumble 200 v3 it's awesome Bob f light too

I have a Fender rumble 15 for home practice, I like it :)
Great video review!!! Is the amp powerful enough to hang with a drum kit ????
I've been checking this out along with the ampeg counterpart combo with the 2 10's @450w.
After watching this, you've pushed me over the fence on this amp and ima have to get the Rumble 500 combo, cause this thing is Fire Hot, Baby.... I mean Blue Flames Burnin Type Shit.
Great Job, Brutha. 😉👍🏿
Nice setup 👍!
Thanks maxproud
Nice ! sold !
Bully would you need a Zoom B6 Bass Multi-Effects Processor if you have the Fender Stage 800? Is this compatible or over kill?
The articulation on that bass is incredible. Are those flatwounds?
nope rounds
Nice demo. I have the rumble 100 for practicing in the house which I love. I need to step up soon for live performance
Any guess on Max spl / sensitivity ?
Great review. I’m picking one of these up ASAP.
Great demo
Bully is a savage
Thank you for your review! I really enjoyed it.
Recently I bought a Sire P10 and I am looking for a new amp for practice at home going well with P10.
I am thinking 'bout ordering Fender Rumble 40 or 100. Do you think it will be a right choice?
Contour sounds great with a strat .
Hi there. I just got myself a brand new Sire V7 ans was considering the Fender Rumble 500 combo - rehearsals and small gigs, various styles. Would you still recommend it ? Looks like a great deal... thx !
Laurent Ponce yes I would... also consider picking up an extra cabinet like a 15 for larger gigs
Allen Brown wow that was fast !
Thx mate I’m getting amped on that amp ;-)
Laurent Ponce I'd look at the fender stage 800 as well... I got that one now...
Allen Brown would love to, but over my budget. Also I guess when it comes to bigger venues most if the times the amp will be miked through the PA system so I guess 350 / 500 with extra cab will do for now. Thw for your time !
Do you have a review of the Fender stage 800?
They don’t call it Rumble for nothing! Enjoy, Bully!
Nice review dude
Great the content Allen. Keep it up. Loving the energy. Like we're homies 💪
Nice combo 👍 up fender !!
Haha i laughed so hard when u put the bass on max. Thanks for the video. What are the dimensions this amp?
Killing it bro
Thanks for sharing my Man👊👊👊
I have a Stingray-5 which is active only. I noticed only one input and not active/passive switch on the amp. Is this going to be a problem?
Nope

Btk5 because it's awesome

mattp2real Do you know max db of the amp?
Of the 1x15 model?
Look at that beautiful white bass. Equally as perty as my beautiful jet black bass.
Great! What's the song on the intro? I'd like to find the sample!
Omg this amp is big
But in comparation with you looks small
Man, youre a big person 😯😯😯😯
Yeah... I am
@@BullyThaKidd que rico 😋
You only use this for a back up? So this wouldn’t be good for gigs?
No it worked great I just loves my other rig more at the time
Monster groovin demo
Bully, do you still have this amp, are you still happy with it? Nice slap btw.
No I traded up to the rumble stage 800... and yes I love it
Bass baby !!!👍✌😎

Thanks for commenting. Ummm a PA usually can't handle the lows of a bass guitar and it can sometimes get lost in the mix
