Josh and Reva's wedding was what first got me hooked on Guiding Light. I just instantly fell in love with them as a couple. What chemistry. By the time Kim Zimmer left the show, I was already fully invested in the show's other characters so I ended up sticking around until about 1989. I have a lot of fond memories of Guiding Light.

Soaps were written so well this decade. Beyond 1980s, there was a lot of hit-and-run writing with disconnected plots
