It's an Arabian horse and it is supposed to be small
Emerald Striplin I have an Arabian and have worked with them, they are not supposed to be that small. It could just be a case of bad conformation.
@@melodystriplin3862 small, not skinny. theres a difference. its back is not supposed to be down that far and its hips are really boney
Stefano Bonato i ride a mare that is sooo skinny too , but she’s so old and that’s why; when i ride her i can’t even jump 30 cm , poor her , i ride her cause i’m so short so i’m not heavy for her , so maybe is cause the horse is old ( sorry bad english but i’m italian
She did very well! As someone who works at a lesson barn I gotta say that place looks like its got a couple shady practices. I would honestly recommend trying out a few other facilities! A few iffy things I noticed were multiple malnourished horses, not providing or requiring boots (which is more dangerous than you might think!), keeping horses tied up in an arena for an extended amount of time (seemingly for no reason either!), and allowing a beginner to use a more advanced bit (which could easily lead to accidental unnecessary pain). Of course these things are all at the fault of the facility. Good luck to Samantha on her riding journey!
Its me,the girl that was riding, (Samantha) Those horses in the backround are horses for experienced horse riders. Just keep that in mind.

Hisis Paris Fournier even though they are for more experienced riders they’re still malnourished which means that they may not be feeding them well. I would try going to another riding barn :)

That facility should be shut down. Those horses are in NO condition to be ridden.
She’s quite strict which doesn’t help her being confident. And the horses look malnourished, so I would report. Maybe try another place / facility ? Might help her!Also, I know this is different to most places but how she held the reins was like, soooo odd!
Literally. These horses are either extremely old or underfed. Either way, they shouldn’t be ridden.
Hello! As someone who has been riding for a long time and have horses of my own please report this facility! The horses are very skinny and lack muscle. Please please do report it for the sake of the horses heath to be rescued!
You did good for the first lesson but remember heels down aka toes up! Be gentle but firm with reins as it could hurt the horse. And for steering you could use your leg to help steer but I'm not sure if that horse is trained on that but just a little something to remember. If you're looking to ride long term, try and invest in riding boots to help keep your foot in the stirrup. For stopping you could sit "deeper" in the saddle to help stop top. But overall great job at the lesson!

Along with everything else obviously wrong with this video, they didn't even pull the forelock out of the bridle which drove me insane
That girl teaching her was horrible! Find a different barn please this could be really dangerous because it looks like they have no idea what they are talking about and I don’t want anyone getting hurt!

I would recommend getting western boots tennis shoes are very dangerous to ride in and that horse is very skinny and a way to big bit personally I don’t do that riding but I really don’t think that is right but I do know what horses are supposed to look like and those horses are way to skinny ❤ but those trainers are very strict and kinda mean I would recommend switching barns ❤❤❤❤❤
that horse was way too skinny and that halter was huge. his back is very arched. you should never ever teach someone to go to the back of a horse.
I subject finding a new barn and reporting them to animal control they are so skinny the horse looks very sad and needs better he won’t last much longer if they keep this up

Hisis Paris Fournier I know. I’m not blaming you it’s just the trainers should warn you to buy boots. Also I ride English so I don’t know if it’s different. The first lesson I had we did posting and trotting but you didn’t so you were fine. No hate though it’s the first lesson 😂

The horse and other horses there are very underfed and malnourished plus the instructor was quite rude and seemed they didn’t care. Poor stable, horse, and staff quality I would definitely report the facility some of it is actually illegal and needs action to be done❤

that horse is not in good shape. its way too skinny and its back is so far down its unnatural. that lady in the jeans was very awkward and creepy

1. It's not a curry brush it's a curry comb 2. She is wearing the worst shoes possible when riding you should wear boots with a little heel at least!
As a equestrian, these horse are extremely skinny.

she did good but i noticed a few things throughout the videos that were concerning first the horses look malnurished 2nd there are things scatterd every and horses loose in the arena this is completly unsafe for ur daughters and the horses saftey and basc everyone and not requried to wear heal boots ik sorry? please report this facility
the horses back was unnaturally arched downwards and the horse was way too skinny. not to mention the size of the paddocks? way to cramped for a horse. the trainer is super sketchy and the whole place is just not looking good. for the life of god i beg you to report this place to animal control and stop going there because this is 100% horse abuse 🥺 🌈
