I believe I passed by this video several times over the years. This is one of my favorites from Seals & Croft's This cover is excellent and the best cover I've heard. Thanks for sharing!
WOW, Tony! I heard this Seals & Crofts song on the radio earlier today while swimming in the back yard with my family. I came online to see if I could hear it again on UA-cam and then stumbled upon this video. I've since watched every video you have on UA-cam. Coming from a musician (piano/keyboards/trumpet) of more than 35 years please allow me to honestly and humbly say you have a nearly U N B E L I E V A B L E talent and gifting, but I'm certain you already know that! Simply GORGEOUS.
Tony can't believe its two years ago since I first commented on you doing this song. Still sounds as sweet today what a great singer and musician you are.
You are the finest blend of David Broza and John Carpenter all together... You're very original and sounded soooo beautiful!. :-) Am from Asia.. & Missing my Father this holiday who happened to like playing guitar on his favorite Cherade every off-school nite. Point me to youtube & I found you. Listened couple more piece, & ended it all up in my collections.. You have no IDEA how much you brought JOY this holiday to me, away from home. THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU ARE AN ARTIST. HAPPY HOLIDAYS.
Again, I like that this musician didn't try to copy the original chord progression chord for chord. This is the way I like to hear covers. And I love this song. I discovered it years ago at a YMCA Summer camp. I've loved it ever since. Good job, Tony!
I heard Seals and Crofts sing this song live on two occasions. I believe the first time was 1974. It’s been my favorite Seals and Croft’s song ever since. This is a wonderful cover and I enjoyed it immensely. I’ll be checking in to listen to this often.
I totally agree with timflan68's comments. Nice cover of a very melodic song. You have a very soothing vocal quality that people can easily listen too. I like the guitar arrangement of the chords that you use also. I may try to watch and borro the arrangement for myself. Seals and Croft were my favorite singing duo of the 70's. I am a Baritone Vocalist and I play Guitar Clarinet and Saxophone. i subscribed to your channel.
Nice cover of this Song... Just thinking about Jim Seals who passed away on Wednesday.. This is my favorite song of thiers. By the way, I noticed the little riff at the end of this. Sounds like what James Taylor plays before he begins singing "Millworker". NIcely done!
I can't get this song and the way you sing it out of my mind you have the it factor. I truly believe that you should audition for America's Got Talent. Can you play a 12 string guitar
Seals and Crofts were the duo of my teen years, I love their songs still, you preformed this song so Beautifully, it woke my Heart up and brought me back, Thank You so very much...xxxooo
Dude! When I saw your picture, my plan was to just skip over it. But you are excellent! It really reminds me of my High School days back in California, when I first bought that Seal and Crofts Album. Hope your making some real money with your voice...
