I love your policies, I personally think about clothes in a very similar way as well; how much will I wear it, how much of an impact will it have on my wardrobe etc. It also helps stretch my budget! The world would be a lot less wasteful if we all tried our best to think like that tbh.

Sometimes it can be a painful process because you get so much attached to something, but along the way we get used to the "pain" hahahah always amazing lessons and content, man. I do this too, my only criteria though is frequency of wear. I sort of stick to one look so alot of my wardrobe consists of variations of the same pieces. Rn I have 2 trash bags full of old clothes I never wear and am still thinning.
