I think you're incredibly talented. I watch your videos and try to copy what you do but am ready to give up! My efforts NEVER work out Even when I'm following your techniques to the letter. You make it look so easy. Beautiful work!
I LOVE your waves!! These are fantastic ... just whisk me away to the seaside! The little starfish, right at the water's edge, are adorable! You have a wonderful eye for color and composition. I caught my breath when you wiped away the first attempt at waves! But of course, why not?!! Thank you, Julie! I'm so glad you were able to post this one today -- you teased us with it in yesterday's video!! Take care and stay safe!!
I live your channel! I love it when you get excited and go "Yaaay!" 😊... You make me smile with your excitement. You are a great teacher and I thank you for your inspiration! Oh- and thanks for sharing the very cool Kookaburra clips - not something I (or a lot of us) get to see! You make beautiful art.. I especially love the blue tier stand you made with the gold in the middle and ive seen some gorgeous pour paintings of yours lately, as well. THANK YOU AGAIN!
You have done a fantastic job with your first waves. Sharon Lindley is a really great person to watch for waves. I’ve seen her blow them away from the beach and then back towards it again. That seems to work for her. I’ve had a go and I think less is more with the white as it takes over! I really love them ❤️
I’m wondering if you would do the white wave without the clear, blow & let it dry. Then do a clear coat to finish it. I think if the white is thinner (by itself), then it would flow & spread more easily. Just a thought.
Looking Good Julie! Remember that waves come into the beach. Maybe try blowing more into the beach? Others I have watched seem to do an initial blow away from the beach to get a mix going then the most blowing at the beach. Like the wind. That mold you use works awesome. Love your videos...
Sweet Julie....trial and error and try try again and you succeeded .....yes less white was the answer and looks like ocean waves in Maui....great job love them.....take care of yourself...love Gramma Donna
Julie what great pieces!! I’d leave the bits of yellow - looks like reflectives of the starfishes & the rocks. Le’Rez Angel White OR Just Resin Titanium White both make easier waves, cells & lacing. Lay down a strip of clear under the white. It helps the white spread out. The trick is to get in there with the heat gun & then quickly torch AND WAIT FOR THE MAGIC. It takes about two minutes for the cells & lacing to appear. I’m the same way & keep messing around trying to make it happen but when I finally left it alone.. Wowee! The other couple tips is to make the wave layer super thin so it won’t sink in, that’s why it looks so good but slowly disappears. (Whites are heavy & sinkers lol.) And & then if you want the wave to stretch really far into the dark blue area .. lift the mold & tilt it as you are doing the heat gun, then get back to level & quick torch. Then wait for the cells & lacing. Overall you did marvelous things here! Right at the end I can hear the birds and it felt like being at the beach. 🏖 I haven’t read all the comments so I do apologize if I have repeated someone else 👌 Thanks for sharing your beautiful art work Julie 🤗💯🤩👏👏
These are gorgeous! I honestly didn't mind the yellow line that appeared. It reminded me of seaweed that can come up when the waves crash upon the shore. Well done! 🌊💖
Just love watching your creations come to life.. You have an amazing gift, thank you for your generosity in sharing it (gift) with us.. cheers from remote Western Australia..
Looks great for your first attempt at waves! Very pretty! I’m still learning waves too so I feel your pain. You mentioned you were making molds. I was wondering if you would be able to do a video on how you make your molds. I have ideas on shapes I would like to make but very new at mold making so only know how to make them from objects I already have and would love to see how to make them when I don’t have a blank to use.
The second round of waves was definitely much better than the first, it’s still probably a bit too much white, that was the same amount I use on a 40cm round. The end result was gorgeous and I love LOVE LOVE the little starfish
I Think zYou Should zPut The White In Your Piping Bag And Only Put 3 Half Loops Across It Then Blow With Heat Blow Gun!! That May Work Better?? Still Pretty Looking!!😊
They have turned our beautiful.I would have thought you would have been better off using a straw to blow the waves on such small scale. The gun is a bit harsh ...However the second time they turned out far better you got just enough balance of everything .And those stones and Starfish look amazing too ..love this idea 🥰
I use thinned acrylic paint for the waves. Pouring thin lines in a random pattern across the whole coaster. I heat it with the gun, then I blow thru a straw to get the movement of the waves in the water.
I’ve seen other Utuber’s add just one drop of 100 % pure silicone oil and mix it into the white, It does create immediate cells. I haven’t tried waves yet. I’m still trying to figure this finicky medium out. They turned out great!
They are beautiful Julie. I know if you had a larger working area, you definitely would have achieved your lacing. However, your end pieces are really gorgeous. Practice makes perfect, and it is about practice ♥️👏👏👏
Julie.. they turned out really pretty.🐬 .. maybe try a very thin line of white along with a thin line of clear.. even 2 thin lines ..one on top and one near the sand
Julie, you probably already know this. You said you were waiting for baby wipes with alcohol. I just use an empty cornstarch container and put my wipes in it and pour my alcohol in the container. Not expensive
Nice job, love your persistence and getting the job done. Very inspiring to watch someone learn and share the experience, thank you for taking the time to encourage everyone to keep going.
Julie its gorgeous beautiful I have learnt a lot from you, a little would I add from my learnings, I use titanium white from just resin and silicon oil with the help of a tooth pic, they both create lacing together 💝
outstanding, Julie! They came out great! I made my own alcohol "baby wipes", using dry wipes in a leak proof container and soaked with 100% alcohol. Dry wipes can be had on amazon, and they're bigger than regular baby wipes too.
Great job, Julie! I’m trying to make waves on a clock beach pour and they are just OK, Not like the waves I’ve seen others do. I do believe it takes practice... and perhaps some helpful hints from those who are more successful. Looking forward to more on this subject. 😉
Love 💕 these The texture on the back is amazing Could add a frame and make these hanging pieces I bet when the 🌞 light shines thru they would be so pretty
very nice Julie 👌. I struggle with the waves and lacing too. then I got some tips on fb. 1. I have the resin sit for little bit. 2 I don't put alcohol ink any more because it made casting craft thinner. I actually put a drop of oil to white the one you used for acrylic paint for cells and I got the lacing. I heard that "armor art" white pigment is better for the waves so I will be trying that next. I need more practice. it's not easy.👋
These are incredible!! I love beach themes!! I wanted to ask you a question though because you are quite the resin queen! I want to know what to do for a beginner CLEAR HIGH GLOSS COAT for my pours and painting. I love the way that it looks and I don't want to frame these pieces! Oh and No molds yet, but can't wait to add that in! Thank you sooo much!💜🎨🙌🏼
When I do these my white has to be thinner than the clear. you generally can achieve that with the color you use thinning your resin. I drizzle tiny lines over each other to make the thicker line, the thin lines will break up better but because they're stacked they look thicker. the lacing isn't always easy but I find with a deeper clear base it works better for me.
Hi...I was trying to find your follow up video to the one where you made the silicone sea horse mold...I thought you said you were going to make one where you poured into the mold you made...Thanks, Karen
I think you did great for your first try. Looks amazing. The videos I have watched they use a blow drying and blow the white up like you were doing and then back down and keep doing that type effect. Just something what I have seen done. I really want to try this.
BEAUTIFUL! May I offer Procrastipainter for your research...She's a small channel, a fellow Aussie, but BRILLIANT at waves... You are my sanctuary from RL when I need it...ty, luv...
Love these Julie they turned out great! I love your persistence even more!! It would look nice if you did a little gold powder with the white for the sand. The only thing that I’ve seen different than what you did to make the waves is that some people start blowing with the heat gun frim the ocean to the sand and then do a 2nd round from sand to ocean. I have no clue if that makes a difference or not.
@@PouringYourHeartOut if it leaves an oily feel on the finished product, you can wipe with a dry cloth. But 1 drop in your white should only give you the desired effect, minus the hige oil slick. Also i recommend trying petri dish alch oil effect coasters and dropping one drop of sili oil in each coaster. It pushes the alch oil around differently. I highly recommend
They are lovely!! May I suggest a channel for you to check out to see info on what pastes, inks and powders work best together to get lacing? Artist Till Death is their channel name. They are full of knowledge with all forms of art, especially resin. Good luck and I look forward to more of your wonderful art and tenacity.

Perfection is a perception, I think they’re perfect!! 🫶🏼.
Those are beautiful 💕
I think it's wonderful!!
Love them!
I just ordered these from you on eBay. Can’t wait!!!
They look grrrreat!!!!
I’m learning so much from you Julie, thank you.

It looks awesome, but I would blow the waves towards the beach, not away from it, just a suggestion. I do love your coasters ❤️
Girl! You did a amazing job on those❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for showing your fail. It helps to see what doesn't work and that it is okay to retry.
I think these are absolutely lovely Julie. Very effective.Thank you. 💗

I think you did a wonderful job for your first try. They look like waves to me. I know you'll get to the point of loving it. Onward and upward!
They look very nice! Good experimentation with great results!
They are beautiful Julie! 💜
Do u think u could put a link up for the resin that u like?
Beautiful, enjoyable video, love your narrative ☺
These turned out really pretty xx

So stunning. The white going up on the beach looks 3D. They awesome. Really nice job Julie. Much love, take care and stay safe. 😊💕🤗♥

These would also be lovely in pendant form 😁

That one bubble you were fixing turned into a seahorse head. It's really cute.

I Think Her Piping Bag Would Do Better At Thinner Lines And Half Circles/ Only 3 Then Blow With Heat Gun!!🤔

Love your channel I have a question can’t you tap the molds to get the bubbles to come to the surface.
Julie these are beautiful 😍🌊
Nice for your first time
...try, try again and you did. Turned out beautiful!
💙🧡💙
Le'Rez angel white for waves and lots of clear, clear resin is key to get the waves to roll in like you want
Those are wonderful!
If anyone can perfect it, it’s you ❣
Second try much better!!

Bellisimos !
It 's gorgeus!! Congratulations!! And I agree with you: we must practice!!
Very pretty ♥️

This is a fantastic first try with your waves! They look hard to make. My hat is off to you. These coasters turned out beautiful. 🤗
Beautiful x
Absolutely wonderful!
Fantabulous! Love how the waves came out and the total effects are awesome!
These are lovely Julie! I can almost smell the sea! xxx
OMG double sided coasters. you are such a clever lady.. ps my druzy arrived today in Newcastle woo hoo

Looking for these ocean wave coaster mold in your eBay store, but I can’t find them! Can you send me the link for purchasing them?
They are amazing!!! You made it Julie!
Love your work!! I like how the wave foams over the starfish. Very real looking. Please tell me where to purchase that little hand torch!
These are incredible!! I love beach themes!! I wanted to ask you a question though because you are quite the resin queen! Thankyou. What do you mean by a deeper clear base?
@@PouringYourHeartOut I meant more clear, just a bit deeper than what you had, so there's something to blow around under the white.
If you pour a little layer and add the rocks instead of pouring it over the rocks, would it eliminate bubbles or make more?
Hi from Sydney, did you say you haven’t done a ocean waves video 817 Beach Pour these look fabulous.
Great job Mrs. Julie 💕 I tried waves and made a mess on my channel but I shall try again 😀
Hi...I was trying to find your follow up video to the one where you made the silicone sea horse mold...I thought you said you were going to make one where you poured into the mold you made...Thanks, Karen

Gorgeous, Julie!
All you would need to do is spray isopropyl alcohol (mist) over the resin to make cells and lacing.
They are very pretty. I'm sure it's easier to do the waves on larger pieces and ones not in molds you have to worry about ruining.
I think u did great...love the wave look
Those are pretty! The 2nd wave was much better and the yellow just looks like sand in the wave.
BEAUTIFUL!
May I offer Procrastipainter for your research...She's a small channel, a fellow Aussie, but BRILLIANT at waves...
You are my sanctuary from RL when I need it...ty, luv...
❤
I love this mold! I can’t find it in your eBay store. Is it still available? I want to use it for flame coasters. 😊
I’m so excited to see this
I love them 🌊🏝 I live the beach by the way I don’t know if it’s just on my phone but the links are not working for me
Love these Julie they turned out great! I love your persistence even more!!

Por favor gostaria muito de saber o nome dos produtos que usou,
Agradeço! I' from Brazil! Parabéns maravilhoso!
It seems to look as if the waves should be blown toward the beach or sand or rocks. Yes?
try add less white to start with i think the first was the best
Julie, have you tried adding a drop of silicone oil to your white? It might help with the lacing
I haven't but I'll try that
