- A guide on how to replace a broken charging port on a portable bluetooth speaker.
The microUSB connector will be replaced with a much more convenient type-C one.
The board I used for its type-c connector is a TC4056 li-ion charging module: bit.ly/33cfpHO

if you weren't worried about the led you might be able to stick the whole usbC board in and connect directly to the wires on the plug

Hi, I took my favorite JBL Link 10 to shower 🚿 multiple times, 😁, to be honest it was amazing that I was able to chat with Google Assistant in shower..::)) , but I forgot to press the small rubber lid in to prevent water damage, and Today I find it has stopped charging, and the inside of the charging port easily wiggles back and forth,
I think I just need to replace the USB port, what do you think I should do to fix it ?
I just fitted a type C charge port from a disposable vape connectd straight to the battery works perfectly & cost me nothing when the blue light goes out it's fully charged. they work perfectly for the lithium ion even tho in the vapes they use lithium polymer. I use the polymer batterys in lights plus the type C charge ports too
my jbl charge 4 turns off in less than a minute, i changed the battery and the problem continues, can you help me please
no idea what that could be .. maybe sell it for parts so it has a decent way out of its first life though :)
