My Discord - discord.gg/XPtgcUAJjt Welcome to the Marines Full Force Demo version by Gongoman, this is a 4-level mappack with levels based on those from DOOM II Hell On Earth (very similar map layouts just greatly expanded with multiple choices to do). Currently it's not possible to get all 13 secrets in the demo as once you have a Red Keycard that is needed to open one of the locked doors with Armory inside (some cells, Megaarmor and Shotgun), the demo ends abruptly when going back. As a fun thing in this mappack, you can move between the levels like it was with Quake II hub system, however unfortunately you need to manually change map just before entering level 3 due to crash (just type changemap map03 in the console). To run this mappack, please read the link which I provided to download Marine Full Force - first you load the WAD, then the Creation Kit, Liquid Textures Pack and the remaining two pks wherever you want to place. When you encounter that small annoying issue with brown texture obstructing your view, just open the Creation Kit file and delete everything inside the Voxels folder, you will not delete any critical file and issue will be gone too. The WAD itself is not too difficult as you will mostly meet pretty basic monsters up to Imps and Pinkies with Chaingunners because well, up to the 4th map of DOOM you could not meet any Hell Knights or even Cacodemons. But of course do not be deceived that most of dangerous enemies do not appear, there are some nasty surprises like dangerous jumps if want to reach secret areas, it's not that hard to suddenly fall and die. As another fun additions to the WAD there are several Save stations that once used, create an autosave - you can find them in some places while playing, plus there are Medical Stations similar to the Half-Life or Quake IV stroyent. Plus when playing this WAD you also might need a little bit more powerful rig cause the amount of details and objects is quite large, thankfully it's much better than in the previous demo version

Hey Martinoz, SpecOps (aka Gongoman) here, thanks for reviewing my map man! I'm sorry about the performance issues in the previous demo version, it seems the removal of alot of the heavier environmental elements in Map01 seemed to fix the framerate issues. Anyways I hope you enjoyed it, I plan to finish off Chapter One with everything up to Dead Simple, and a few optional original maps thrown in too.
I was going to remark on the similarity to Doom 3 but it seems like lots of people picked up on that too. The vibe from the atmosphere captures that eerie foreboding feel really well.
WOW a level you have not done over and over to make you look good haha its better this way no knowing where eveything is and getting surprises. Keep these type of vids coming.
i think it's interesting how classic Doom mods or total conversions make your guns able to be reloaded while the official Doom sequel makes your gun basically use an ammo belt
What project brutality u using bro? How u 2 shotting zombieguys with dmr and 4 shotting with the pistol? How u able to shoot the guys with no problem with hitboxes? For me it takes 4 shots dmr and 6 for pistol, also find it hard to shoot imps in the chest and some zomby in the head, they invincible there. I using the project brutaltiy branch zips from the github and dragging them to gzdoom. Good vid tho
I wonder why there is no cool maps that support zandronum. I guess that people are too damn lazy to make it compatible with literally anything. The same with mods. You want to play anything, then use that f&king gzdoom. What a shame! Doom is like 30, or something, years old, and you need to have a nucklear PC to be able to run this shit. Sometimes, i wonder why humanity are still alive after this. Or at least those people who make stuff only for themselfs, and don't care about others, when you put your work out there for everyone to look at and try.

The map looks better with fog effect disabled
Every time i feel confident and proud of my mapping and scripting skills i find something like this, and I immidietly stop feeling like that.

You did really well on the amount of 3D floors and use-of Doom 3 textures in this map pack.

you know its a good doom map ,when despite stretches of 'empty' areas the atmosphere makes you hold your breath as the player explores

This is pretty awesome. It better accomplishes what DooM 3 sought out to do while also feeling very much like what DooM should be at the same time.
The maps are "ginormous" i like the atmosphere, the soundtrack helps with that. Perhaps a few more enemies but so far I'm impressed.

So? What's wrong with it? If you don't like what this mod do to doom then play other mods or stick with vanilla.
And this is a gameplay mod of course there's gonna be some additional mechanic like jumping and reloading.
