What We Know About Quentin Tarantino's New Movie

- Veteran film director Quentin Tarantino has made some modern day classics. He has directed Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Tarantino has announced that his 10th movie will be his last movie. So what is the film about?
Have been a fan of Tarantino for decades, never disappointed by any of his past offerings, however I always hoped that before he retired he would have gotten to make "Jules Winfield Walks The Earth".
Hell yeah!
Like Caine…
I think he’s going to do a Broadway show of Jules and his adventures from walking the earth
That might work as a 6 episode TV show too..
He said on some interview , that he has only one movie left to do
I feel like this will definitely be a dialogue heavy movie and that may disappoint people but I think his dialogue is what really makes him as great as he is. It’s very smart without being over the top witty/whimsical like a lot of modern movies try to do (aka most Marvel movies post GOTG)
His dialogue is why is Once upon time in hollywood and The hateful eight is some of my favorite movies
It does depend on the dialogue.. i just watched death proof for the second time because i never enjoyed it the first time.. It's okay, but the dialogue is really tedious.
It should star Steve Buscemi.
Omg yes!!! I've been wanting them to work together for so long
@@MrPink1992they are lady did watch Resevoir dogs
Based on QT's own description of the critic character, Buscemi sounds like he would be absolutely perfect in that role.
He will be in it for sure
Too old, based on QT's description
“This will be my final movie……until the next one”
Or as a writer, executive producer, or short movie director, or as a guest director for a tv series..considering he has done all that before
@@pkvanderzee6226 there’s just no way he’s gonna walk away and do nothing. He’s way too into movies and the industry as a whole
1930s gangster epic by Tarantino would be unreal!
Yeah, or any mob movie.
The gangsters were rolling in the 20s.
Or make it a gangster movie set in ancient Rome, a la Spartacus. Now that would be cool.
Horror. All great directors have a horror. Horror is a true test of a director's style.
@@MicahMicahelidk if deathproof counts but there it is
I am waiting patiently for his "last" movie, but I'm positive that his love of movies and his work ethic will draw him back to making more movies. He's just too enthusiastic to not make more.
He's going to write and produce for television.
Now that would be awesome! A television series created, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino? I would love that!
@@paulordrg He's mentioned it as a possibility. I wouldn't put money on him directing all the episodes if he did it. But a streaming service would back up the Brinks truck if he's serious.
@@paulordrg He should make a TV series based on all the characters who have appeared in his movies; from Beatrix Kiddo to Jackie Brown to the Vega brothers. They all inhabit the same Tarantino universe, with the series being a prequel to the movies whereby we get to see more of their backstories.
If he did make another movie, I would love if it was a horror movie. His style is perfect for it.
All I know is whenever this movie is released I will watch in theaters
Thats like saying : If I am hungry, I will eat.
No hate. Just saying...
No its not. That's a stupid analogy. One eats food every day when hungry. One does not see remotely even 10% of movies in theaters. So going to see it in theaters is actually saying something.
I will pirate 😋

"I'm comin outta retirement"
"Screenplay was so good i couldn’t resist"
You definitely made the film sound more interesting to me than I had imagined it would be when I first heard about about the film's subject.
Pitts character in Once Upon a Time was based on real life stunt man turned director Hal Needham so you're probably on to something here. They could show Pitts character directing car movies like Cannonball run or Smokey as Needham directed those sequels. Or my personal favorite RAD a BMX film from the 80s Hal crushed and still has a big cult following.
Brilliant filmmaker for DECADES! Thank you for all the entertainment!!! Can't wait!!!
It’s going to be hard to top Inglorious Basterds as his current magnum opus, but one thing is for certain, this is going to be one of the movies of all time.
Love Tarantino films. Always have and will. The only movies I didn’t care for were the Kill Bill movies. But I definitely see why folks like them. He’s said for years he was doing ten movies. Looks like he’s sticking to that plan. If he got into documentary making like Oliver Stone for example, they’d be awesome too.
The KILL BILL films were well made technically, but they lacked a story.
Wanting to kill your ex girlfriend because she left you isn’t a very strong premise. Then that same girlfriend seeking revenge against the people who tried to kill her isn’t very believable either.
@@DialloMoore503It was never meant to be believable. It was Tarantino's love letter to old Kung Fu films
The anime cut in kill bill was a movie in its own
Beautifully done sequence
Kind of like the Eagles having multiple “farewell tours”.
Wow...your ideas are sincerely phenomenal, hope Tarantino would hear you! 😍
I'd love to see Tarantono's Star Trek!
Inglourious Basterds is his last great movie. His films definitely lost some flare after Sally Menke passed away.
I’ve always wanted to see Nicholas Cage in a Tarantino movie. I think Tarantino could really bring the best out in him.
"This will be my final movie"
About time. He is officially out of juice.
…we quoted the shit out of his 90s movies. 00s, still great. I loved Basterds.
That boring western cabin movie and that empty, overlong, selfindulging Hollywood "love letter" - completely forgettable.
I predict feet.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we get movie-within-a-movie versions of either some of the movies he’s had to abandon or rumored spinoffs. Like if there was a cameo scene for Killer Crow or Vega Brothers. Hell, make one of them Tarantino’s Natural Born Killers 😂
Liked all his films , wasn't the biggest fan of Inglorious Bastards because I dislike when ppl make up WW2 stories that ain't based on real things but it's a good film otherwise all his other movies are really good & this is from a original fan that's been watching him since 94 when Pulp Fiction came out on VHS!!!! 90's Tarantino fans like myself that been there since the very beginning never expected Tarantino to become a household name that everyone knows but obviously Kill Bill & Inglorious Bastards made that happen!!!!! In the 90's he was obviously famous but nobody ever talked about him ever especially younger ppl in their teens or their 20's like kids do today !!!!
Anyways If this is the final film he makes (which it's not because he's too much of a cinephile) I hope it's 4 hours long this time so we can get the most out of him as possible ❤
Thank God no Crew Member will ever again has to suffer from this Diva.
I was hoping he'd do "The Wacky Detective" and "The Dogcatcher"
A whole lotta muthafuckaz went to see that movie
Hes not going to retire so this is a good thing overall but im mad we ain't getting this movie this year because it's already been half a decade since his last fiilm & hes not doing anything on the side either like he used to before "Inglorious Bastards" came out & made him lazy !!!!!
Before that , we got tons of films that were either assist directed by him or writen by him or at least produced by him which is what he did throughout the 90's & 00's decades !!!!!
I was very intrigued in seeing "The Movie Critic" because it was going to be his epilogue meaning his was basically going to make a movie with tiny movie scenes in it that are basically everything he made in the past & every movie genre known to man all put together & with every single star he ever had worked with playing a small role which would of definitely been a awesome final goodbye but maybe now we will get a couple of films !!!! As long as its not a "Star Trek" movie 😂😂 he said he wanted to make a Star trek movie & im sure it would be decent but only as like a single scene in The Movie Critic as like a single comedic scene!!!! That's the only way i could see him actually doing anything Star Trek without it sucking!!!! That's definitely not what i want his finale to be in his legacy!!!
Maybe "Kill Bill vol.3" & a animated version of "V for Vega" movie with Travolta and Madson doing the Vega Brothers voices would be pretty awesome but otherwise id like to see him tackle a new genre but now that i think of it 🤔.....????
A Sci Fi movie is basically the only genre of movie he has really done yet & maybe that's why he wants to make "Star Trek"!!!!
Hes literally made every other genre of film at this point!!!!
As far as a director hes made :
2 Crime films
1 Blaxplotation film
1 Action film (with 2 parts)
1 Horror film
1 War film
1 Western film
1 Mystery film
1 Comedy film
now so idk what actual direction he should actually go in at this point!!!!
Im honestly cool with whatever as long as he keeps making several more films because one more isn't going to do it for fans or for me tbh especially considering im a veteran fan from the 90's back when he was a nobody & only the critics liked him basically!!!! He didn't become really known till "Kill Bill" which made him nationally known around the country & then "Inglorious Bastards" made him globally known around the world but honestly back in the 90's even way after "Pulp Fiction" won a Oscar , nobody on the streets talked about him at all because he wasn't on their radar at all unless they just happened to see any of his earliest films by accident basically because there was no Internet or word of mouth about him going around until like the mid 2000's !!!!
I discovered him in 94 accidentally from my uncle renting "Pulp Fiction" on Home VHS while eating pan fried chicken as a 8 or 9 year old & ive been hooked ever since ❤
I guess we will have to find out what comes next unfortunately 😢
Tarantino's forte is small films. They better suit his style. He believe that he must astonish his audience with every movie. This is a trap. It may be his last movie. But he can always turn to long-form projects, such as a series.
I want a Tarantino film with Daniel Radcliffe as the lead. I expect that Nic Cage will be in it somewhere, too. He's one of Tarintino's favorite actors, and I don't believe they have worked together.
hey CR on a separate note could you do a piece on dog day afternoon, it has so many godfather cast members in it, it's practically a spin off
I'll be there with 🛎 bells on! I'll guess leading role goes to Edward Furlong!
IMDb lists Tarantino’s The Movie Critic as starring Paul Walter Hauser of Richard Jewel and Stingray in Cobra Kai fame lmao; I enjoy his work so I hope he plays the titular Movie Critic.
I don't buy for a second it'll be his last movie. Never believed him when he said he'll only make 10. If he casts everyone that he has in the past that are still around I might believe him on it. But yes I'm looking forward to it & will see in theaters.
Looking forward? Yes, of course.
Good video. Thanks for the info.
I hope he gets Hollywood legend Rich Evans for the lead but Rich might be too big a star at this point
He should do blood meridian
Great research here. Just curious, how did you find out Pitt’s character, Booth, turned into a film director? Was there a series after the film?
It’s in Tarantino’s novelisation of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, apparently, it’s been a while since I read it. It was a great book, though, but it does make some heavy deviations from the film.
Deathproof should not count as it is a lesser work (on purpose). So he should do 2 more….
*renege, is pronounced re neg
Also, I have a feeling that Tarantino will cheat and make Kill Bill 3, but count it as part of Kill Bill.
I've heard of the movie critic, which I would love to see, but I think he still will do the 3rd part of Kill Bill and he will do something with the Parker character - whether that's in theatres or on the TV.
Sounds like my man QT is gonna put his own spin on the lives and times of The Deuce and Boogie Nights eras, and it's gonna be the fucking shit.
I'd love to see Phillip Seymour Hoffmans kid in that role
I think, the "10", will be The Tarantino Legacy. I do think there will be more, eventually, but they'll be put into another category, which is fine.
It wouldn't be surprising for him to make more movies with tiny budgets and use a pseudonym.
If Tarantino's films got any more self indulgent it would be 3.5 hours of him touching himself
Now I dearly love some of Tarantino's work and he is extremely important to the film landscape. But I'm finding since the end of Django I really am not a fan of the direction he's chosen. I am however excited he might get into the TV environment. He could really rival Fargo and breaking bad for TV shows I enjoy
I always thought he’d have 10 in the Tarantino cinematic universe. And then he could go on to develop other peoples scripts or do IP work. He could do Tv, write novels.
only one needs to finish his circle only one actor who gave him the break .. harvey keitel maybe he can win the oscar finally
Yeah! And Slayers never getting back together again!
Oh.... .....?
They're going on tour?
Period drama medieval shot like Pulp Fiction or a comic type character film shot in the same style
When the money stops..
Last one , has to be with Daniel Day-Lewis
He might do it just for Tarantino's Swan Song
He will be missed.
Tarantino got a new wife and moved to Tel Aviv or somewhere bomby so he splits his time above and below ground now. Underground when one farts it tends to linger indefinitely so he enjoys his time down there more and more. When the high of his own flatulence wears off maybe he will realize he i stalking about himself in a ridiculous way. Scorsese is still killing it, so old or not, does not matter. Just whether or not you "still got it". I think the new lady wants him to quit to "Spend more time with me and buying me things".... time will tell. He has 10 more great flix in him to direct and 100s more to write and produce, never mind TV!
I heard whispers that Tom Cruise is onboard...
0:15 If Michio Kaku were of European descent...
I'm still waiting for a QT movie with
C. Hellion G.
"...Sure, he might *renegade on that promise..."
*renege
We want the "briefcase"
I want to see him do Sanford and Son
So he’s gona begin doing TV next?
Christoph Waltz will be in it!!!
THE MOVIE CRITIC would be the place where Rob Zombie's WEREWOLF WOMEN OF THE SS might finally be given the chance to howl...and then get torn apart by the Critic.
Nah, as a last QT movie, this ain't it. I would have rather a crime film with sharp dialogue just like the old days.
Wasn't there supposed to be a Kill Bill 3?
Sounds brilliant💪
dont worry it wont be his last movie. he loves film 2 much to ever stop
Don't forget Roger Avery.
I wonder how he directed this “last movie” from Gitmo?? 🤷♀️or maybe he completed it before they took him off the world stage
Kill bill vol. 3 as his final project! Please
What about From Dusk Till Dawn
this feels like an ai generated skript
I want a QT Horror film or series of films. Forget that 10 film nonsense
Tarantino has said that before the release of his last 5 movies. 🤣🤣🤣
Can’t fucking wait
As long as his last film stars Rob Redford I’m good.
Renegade, noun.
Renege, verb. 😮
It's a reference
What?
He used renegade as a verb. Just pointing it out, is all
----> Paul Walter Hauser
Why can't these videos ever just Get to Point?!!
We all know who Tarantino is - it's why we're here.. We don't need a Complete History!!
I know who the lead character is. It's none other than Joe Pesci himself. "POW PING!"😆
Hope it’s not as boring as that Hollywood one
1:33 - “sure, he might renegade on that promise…”
bruh. your script says renege. hire a better editor.
If it's not Kill Bill 3, he's fucking up.
Maybe it's like junkie's last shot.
Aaaaaand canceled literally looking up
if we use kill bill standard he could keep making sequels and he would consider them "one film" lol
This premise sounds really boring
Thank God, ever since Jackie Brown his movies have been going down hill, there is a lot of “Emperors new clothes “ with Tarantino and I for one don’t buy it.
his stuff peaked in the ‘90s.
Django, Inglorious Bastards, both Kill Bills??? What are you on about?
Lmao, you watch anime. Your opinion = 0.
@@TeddyKGB12I watch anime and disagree with this guy’s statement 😅
So did you
@@Hi-pl5rx all worse than his first two films.
I know he won’t do it but a remake of Reservoir Dogs would be great
oh no a nigel accent
There will be a lot of talking.
lost his mojo
The greatest director of all time by far.
Once upon in hollywood was terrible 😕. Hopefully, his last film better
He's way too old and political now. It's time to bow out
Once upon a time in Hollywood was garbage. Hopefully he goes out with a better legacy than that.
He should’ve never made it. Dude thinks everything he writes should get made into film. Take your time and write a solid script.
Bullshit. It's his best movie.
Hope not
As a Huge Tarantino fan, I strongly support his decision to only make 10 films.
I rather have 10 masterpieces, than 15 diluted, ok movies.
Its so disappointing to see great directors come up with lazy, uninspired garbage.
Scorcece - the irishman
Spielberg - ready player one
Copolla - godfather part 3
Oliver stone, pretty much everything after the 90s.
Cant understand the hate the irishman gets KOTFM was great too
You also forgot Tarantinos grindhouse crap. And kill bill 2? Completely forgettable.
@@plaidchuck kill bill 2, masterpiece. Grindhouse its a side project, not entirely his.
@@plaidchuck also, defend the irishman, let me know what's good about it, and i can assure you i can double the amount of good points you give me with negative points about the movie
@@plaidchuck if youre gonna say an unpopular opinion, you have to back it up
You don't sound like much of a fan to me
God I hope it is his last film
Reservoir dogs was good, pulp fiction was good , everything else was trash. He is overrated
He's films after about Jackie Brown got more and more bloated. One of the funny things is people trying to make it his films having deeper meaning than they have. The man is all style which can be good but as he indulges in the worse parts of his filmmaking it gets less enjoyable. It doesn't help that since I have had watched more movies some of which he was inspired by the less impress with his work I am.
Tarantino is overrated.
i hope he retires, his films are crap
Hopeful he doesn't start writing film criticism or analysis because from his first attempt he is shit at it.
Yeah his last movie untill they offer another 40 million.
