This was a great vid indeed! I'm also a student finishing up my very last fieldwork. If you have peds fieldwork, study up on developmental milestones, sensory processing, and the various skills kids need. If you have acute care, study up on medical terminology, Ranchos Amigos levels, TBI, neuro, ROM and MMT, nose to finger test, visual fields testing, and acronyms. I put together a bunch of resources for anyone interested.

Hi, your videos have been helping me so much. I was wondering, is all of the fieldwork part of the 2-2.5 year master's program or is it done after you graduate with a master's? Thanks!!

Hi! Loved this video! I am starting my OT program this fall and I was wondering when it came to fieldwork if they supply your uniform in that setting or if they expect you to have it yourself. I am debating whether or not it would be a good idea to have a pair of khakis and/or scrubs to be safe prior to fieldwork placements

Hey Girl! So usually programs only provide you with a polo that you will have to purchase through your school. You usually wear that with khakis or dress pants. However, every school is different so your program will let you know their expectations regarding fieldwork! I personally had dress pants before my fieldwork started so I wore those and then bought khakis later on. Hope this helps and good luck with everything :)

My fieldwork site in acute care provided us scrubs and masks. But of course, every place is different, it is true.

Hi!! I loved this video. Makes me excited for OT. However, I'm a bit stressed!! I took A&P at a community college my first year anddd I got a C(Ap1) then an F (Ap2). It was my first year and I had no idea what I wanted to do!! I just gave up because I honestly was not ready. Now I'm a junior at a university and I retook A&P 1&2 and I got an A in both! My concern is now... That OT schools will over look my application when they see I retook it after having such bad grades.
    What do you think?

Hey girl!! I don't think OT schools will overlook your application just because you didn't do well the first time you took A&P! What matters is that you retook it and received an A in both which is amazing!! Schools look at the whole candidate, so as long as your GPA, extracurriculars and personality fits what they are looking for then you should have a good chance of getting into a great school! Good luck with everything :)
