Clickbait titles aren’t cool. Basically it’s lying to your subscriber base to trick them to clicking on your video. I’m out.
What do the statuses do other than sometimes leading to a variable x-fer bonus?
Not broken but definitely changes how you prioritize the card. Status is never mentioned in other videos for the Bilt card and I only learned about them when I went to their site to apply. By paying rent alone most people were never going to hit most of those ranks. I live in Brooklyn and I would have built a strategy to earn it. Now it's like chasing an airline status, nice but not worth the squeeze for most people. I think the "God Trifecta," broke the Bilt system with people changing all of their Mastercard spending to rent day.
The only time it is a problem with this program now is if you have under 2000 points and want to transfer them if you are a blue member but other than that not a big deal. If they got rid of Hyatt or AA then that’s a problem.

Nice Coverage of the Changes to the Bilt Card and the rewards. Glad you were able to break this down for everyone. WF wants that spend they make money off of using the card and swiping with the transactions. It was only inevitable.
I was looking to maybe get this card sometime in late 2024 as my credit history builds but now I'm passing. And trust me, watch them devalue everything even further for 2025.

I don't think that was a deceptive title. The question is valid. Bilt made a big change, and I'm sure I'll never reach even silver status now. I just don't spend that much per year. And, I need to put the majority of my non-rent purchases on whatever card I'm trying to earn a sign-uo bonus on.
I totally ignorant to the Bilt status. I don’t think anybody (UA-camr) explain this thoroughly due to the hype focus on “rent payment”. Or I wasn’t paying any attention.
So, you have to spend to get a status to trannfer?
My dream for the BILT card is that it copies the Custom Cash approach of applying a multiplier, let’s say 3x, on your highest spend category outside of rent each month. I think people would find much better use of this in their existing setups with this flexibility instead of just another dining card. This would incentivize non rent spend for a variety of people.
That sucks .. the whole idea was rent .. this card needs to have 2x on everything then if ghe6 wan5 more spending

Well looks like I’m never getting platinum 😂 almost got it this year, but now I might not even get Gold again.
I get excited when Amex has 30% bonus to transfer partners, BILT has bonus offerings that start at 75%? Geez, that’s awesome and 150% is insane, but I’ll take 75% any day.
That was an example of one rent day X-fer option. You can't count on it continuing.
@@DugrozReports it seems it happens once or more a year, same goes for the 30% bonus on Amex.
BILT, the only business or statistic I've ever encountered that rounds DOWN from 0.95 to next lowest $1 when awarding points.

There's only 1 rent day per month (12 rent days per year). In order to spend to the first tier up, you'd need to eat $10,000 in food in 12 days.
