I can understand Sylvester Stallone missing his good longtime friend Carl Weathers. What about the other accomplishments in his acting? He also joined In The Heat of the Night at the start of Season 7 1993-94 Season as Chief Hampton Forbes and was on the remaining Movies in that series in 1994 and 1995. I'm sure the surviving actors Alan Autry, David Hart, Crystal Fox and Denise Nicholas are mourning his passing also. Seems that a lot of different channels that have done uploads on Carl Weathers are failing to recognize his acting in other roles besides Apollo Creed on Rocky. Also from lots of comments I've read mostly a lot of people have him typecasted from Movies 4 decades ago not realizing that his potential was also recognized in other roles as well.

Another sacrifice
Some thought that the woman who played his wife in the Rocky movies was his real life wife. Never knew that all of his wives in real life were white. He will be remembered best for the Rocky saga, Predator, and Action Jackson movies. A solid actor in all of those films.
I love everything he was in, he reminded me of my uncles and cousins growing up in DC smart, funny, and handsome.
