Yeah i love that 30th anniversary CD of the white album with its flipbacks cover and black inner sleeves and poster and photos and they took the effort to number them too.Thats the one to get for the original stereo CD version of that album.But i have got about 10 different copies of that album including uk original first press numbered mono vinyl,1991 DMM uk stereo vinyl,2014 mono vinyl,2018 4 disc vinyl with esher demos box,1987 uk cd,2009 stereo CD,2009 mono CD and XDR uk cassette and probably one or two im forgetting but its my favourite album.Thanks for the video and im now subscribed please keep them coming. Girlfriend purchased the let it be special edition super deluxe a year ago

Purchased it from her local jbhifi store paid $215.00

You were close. The Red Apple was used in North America as the record was distributed by United Artists there, to differentiate it from EMI distributors elsewhere.

I remember buying this Album in the 70ies upon release. It came in a Box with the LP and a book. Has this original book ever been rereleased?

Not to date in the original format. It was full of great photos by Ethan Russell.

Not in its entirety. There were extracts from the book in Let It Be...Naked but that's about it. The book/vinyl bundle did have a reprint once - the first printing had credits pasted onto the inner cover while the second edition had printed credits.
Come to think of it, a replica of the original release-book and all-would be a nice RSD release, no?

It's amazing that with a little care your homemade sleeve is far better than the "real" thing especially considering they have access to the original negatives, scans and artwork. That George image on their newest iteration looks downright awful.
By the way Peter Bown was a sound engineer, Peter Brown was an Apple associate ;)
