At the risk of looking like I'm shipping, I could see Chris and Connor bringing their "content partners," Sharla and Kaho, for a "Wacky Couples Weekend" where they stay overnight (and we see the girls bond too).
I don't know anything about their relationship (haven't watched every upload and thought they were just friends) but I have to admit, the thumbnail pic for this video seems to suggest they are indeed a couple. Are they actually married? Edit: holy crap I just realized this isn't the Abroad in Japan channel... Whose channel is this?

Chris's brand of dry sarcasm and the chemistry between him and Sharla made this video a banger. I was laughing all throughout. The miniature museum is awesome! Definitely checking that out next time I'm in Tokyo.
why all of you guys are idealizing all the public couples.... just let them be so later they don't have any shame when something is just to look good. They are people and have good and bad days like all of us.
Yeah, it's cute, but Sharla has always been that fun loving, cheerful, laughing type of person. I don't see how Chris has changed her in that way. I'm sure Sharla is very much capable of being a ray of sunshine on her own too.
When I went to Tokyo in March and the Fuji tv building came into sight whilst I was on the boat I was hit by a wave of emotion and came close to crying as I had wanted to see it in person for so long because of Digimon. Just walking round Odaiba was an amazing experience.
All the food featured today looked delicious. It made me hungry watching lol. The miniature museum looks so cool!! I wonder if they change anything if the area something is based on in real life also had some change (like a new biulding being built or something)? Travelling by boat must've been nice with how hot the weather is everywhere. The Maro drawing was cute in it's own way.
If you really love Miniatures, you need to visit the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg if you are in Europe again. It's the biggest Model Railroad in the World. They even have self driving ships in their Scandinavia Part of the world. It's insane

Amazing art skills by Chris. Can we get a Bob Ross style episode with him vs some other contestants? I think that would be an amazing video. 😂 Sharla is delightful as always! Those two are so cute together. Love the banter. French Toast is a superior breakfast, I agree with Sharla lol
I am a huge fan of all of your channels and have been a subscriber of all for years but the combination of Sharla and Chris is just so good. The combination of the Canadian, and the British and the amount of time they have both spent in Japan is so enjoyable. Thanks to all of you for what you do.
6:16 Chris, as you're currently in the UK and especially if the book tour in Germany happens, you might wanna check out the Miniatur Wunderland (eng.: Miniature Wonderland) in the port of Hamburg in northern Germany. It holds the world record for the largest model railway system in the world and it's just flabbergasting how big and complex the whole thing is. It sounds like you (both) would very much enjoy it! It spans several floors, depicts places from all over the world and is filled with hundreds of small little easter eggs (as a public figure you might even have the chance to get a figure of yourself placed there). And on top of that it's located in Hamburg's warehouse district called Speicherstadt which is over 130 years old, built in the Gothic Revival architectural style and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so you might also enjoy seeing the architecture.
Love seeing these two doing videos together. Japan and especially Tokyo never cease to be fascinating. Brought back wonderful memories of my 2019 trip to Tokyo with family.
That kind of sparkly wine is quite common in europe. It is called "Federweisser" here in Germany and its one of my favorites. Basically it is just grape juice, that is lightly fermented. Glad that you also liked it!
I did a yakatabune dinner tour up the sumida as a tourist on my honeymoon, it was so fun! It was nomihoudai (all you can drink), the food was really good, and everyone was so nice and friendly. There was only one other foreign couple on the boat, we ended up hanging out with them after haha. Japanese salarymen brought us sake and kids were practicing their English with us. With the nomihoudai people were really letting loose. I would definitely recommend it, great experience
The miniature museum is added to my list of must visit places in Japan. I met the love of my life three years ago and she adores miniature things. Her collection is amazing and continues to grow since I met her. I know she will love this place and can't wait to visit the museum with her. Chris and Sharla, I know where to find your miniature figures, and you guys are an amazing couple and look so happy! Love the video and thank you for adding new places to visit in Japan!
