Well sort of, but that is not the main story. This game is essentially remake of first two games. Writer is there to tie the main two stories together. It is about mad painter and about mad actor.
There's always a man, a lighthouse, a city....
Its weird that its not on the marketplace yet. For a preorder option.

Can't find words to explain how astounding it looks.
A lot of newfangled games run in a slow irritating way with a way more moderate graphic.
The new Layer of Fear has the impressive detalisation level and absolutely nothing to show as performance gaps or freezes
Let's see if this can manage to be a little more just walking through spooky hallways again and again, while hearing cryptic dialogue throughout.

it's basically both games + DLCs together remastered and tied up organically by a new story

So is there any type of combat mechanic, it looks like with the creepy lady coming after you in the demo that you have to use the lantern to destroy her, so I’m guessing there has to be something besides just a haunted house walking sim to it.

A retelling of the 2 games with new mechanics and some new story elements base on the demo it is more story focus than before
