Exactly this! They didn't really care about what happened in the past, the only wanted their hatred of the other tribe to be validated. The whole point is that it's a stupid feud, so it's only fair that it gets a "stupid" answer. And in the end, this lie brought more good than any search for the truth could have ever done.

This was an amazing video. Every episode was mostly great and some good. It’s crazy how this show impacted so many people. Over 15 years later and here we are. I even remember watching the final episode in a hospital room begging to change the channel. It was absolutely incredible.
It’s so refreshing seeing someone appreciate season 1 as much as I do. It’s probably my favorite season to rewatch because I find the lightheartedness of this season charming. I know Bato of the Water Tribe is considered one of the least liked episodes, but it’s one of my favorite episodes of season 1! And the season 1 finale is my favorite finale of the whole series. I always loved the fact the soka was super proud of his sword skill from day one but humble enough to wear a dress and fight with a fan. By the end he's a very formidable sword fighter and in a world with fewer benders like there are in the show that's the next best thing.
Sadly due to how the strike system works, I can't really make a comprehensive video going over each episode without it either getting either blocked worldwide or having to blur most of it. This video is flagged already too even with all the blurred parts, but at least it's still viewable, which is not always the case. Because of this, at the moment, I don't plan on doing this sort of review for book 2, but I'll absolutely have more Avatar content in the future! Appreciate the comment! :)
i think u should do a level above great like "epic" or "masterpiece" so episodes like the storm stand out from episodes like the deserter wich is great but below the storm also jet is a great episode

I think The Fortune Teller definitely deserves a "meh". It was like an episode of a bad high school sitcom. Nothing happened except some awkward teen drama and they stop a volcano at the end. It's my least favourite episode of the whole series

When talking about episodes of show it's common to preface them with the season number. In this case, 101 means season 1 episode 01
