The enduring beauty of these plow days and other working vintage machinery shows is not that they bring people together but they also take people back to simpler times when you DIDN'T need a computer and an engineering degree to fix a machine. just your own know-how, a few basic tools and the willingness to get your hands dirty.

I've never done farming other than messing with my farmer neighbors hogs but I recently got into garden tractors. I don't get how the spectators show up on the 4 wheelers because I'd be on my Economy tractor or my Allis B110 trying hard to get in on the action.
