Recently we took in a rescue pig named Oreo and she quickly became part of the pack. Now she is patrolling the yard with the rest of the bassets making sure the cats stay out!
Bassets are without a doubt the sweetest dogs in the world. They are driven, intelligent, funny and absolutely wonderful. The little piggy fits right in.

You have one of the super rare front leg drive Bassets existing today. Most are all-leg drive Bassets, that handle like a lowered golf cart. Beautiful dogs!

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that bassets are a breed that accepts other dogs as well as other creatures. I have never seen a basset pick a fight with another animal.
