As a person I have to admit, this trailer made me feel inspired. Matthew McConaughey dictates this monologue in such an emotional way, Hans Zimmer's score complements it beautifully. I cannot wait for this movie
When a trailer shows absolutely nothing and you have names like Nolan and Hans Zimmer attached to the movie, then you know it's going to be frikken amazing.
Can already tell that the soundtrack is going to be spectacular.

Christopher Nolan is by far my favourite contemporary director, so I'm incredibly excited by Interstellar.
I wish the studio allowed Nolan to just leave this as the only trailer for the movie. I feel like i've seen the best parts of the movie with the 3 trailers now, although they might not be in order or context.
Anyway, excellent teaser, made me feel like a kid again looking up at the stars
why do some people hate Nolan? smh theyre complaining about him having the same tone in all his films, well you dont hear people complaining about Scorsese or Tarantino films being the same tone!!!
I'm already sending Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor for Matthew McCaunahey(idk how to spell it), Best Leading and Supporting Actress for Chastain and Hathaway, Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Cinematography
Christopher Nolan is in his prime as a director. He has resurrected Batman, he has screwed with our minds in The Prestige, Memento, & Inception. Gave us the best Catwoman & Joker yet. Finally, he has revolutionized directing as we know it. I really hope he finally gains the Oscar he rightfully deserves.
P.S; Can't wait for the new film.
***** The Joker was the best revision of a Batman villain. Batman's voice I think is very subjective. I can understand why people thought it was annoying. However, that aside he is still one of the best and most innovative directors in Hollywood and he deserves an Oscar.

In classic Nolan fashion not revealing much about the story along with making us wanting it more. Loved the voice-over and Zimmer's soundtrack. This is going to be a good one.

If anyone has seen Mathew McConaughey over the last two years, then they will know just how awesome a talent he is. Mud, Magic Mike, Killer Joe and Dallas Buyer's Club - Phenomenal performances. Can't wait to see him bring his newfound gravitas to Nolan's universe.
He is truly awesome in True Detective. Very few actors have the onscreen gravitas to truly pull audiences into their world and McConaughey has discovered his.
Gorgeous teaser.. so much inspiration. It's sad how true it is though. In the words of Neil DeGrasse Tyson, "We stopped dreaming". Hopefully this movie will direct more interest into space exploration and programs like NASA. The future of our species is most definitely beyond this tiny little planet. If for anything else, space exploration will help us better understand and possibly prevent certain disasters. Did I mention how much I love this teaser?
I love that this is so inspiring and artistic without spoiling the movie, it leaves you with a feeling of awe and intrigue.

I love how the trailer is saying we've given up on space exploration, which this country has, and how Nolan has hope for the progress of mankind. I can't wait.

I can't stop watching it! Chris Nolan is SO good about drama and speech. Not to mention, him and Hans Zimmer make a perfect cinematic experience as shown well in The Dark Knight movies and especially, Inception and Man of Steel.
The sad thing is watching this only on film, when interstellar space travel and human space exploration should be happening right now and for public knowledge.

The only excuse I get is because of the cutbacks to Nasa because of Obama, and all the spending on a tireless war, but that's not a problem for other countries to not be more ambitious, which they are, but not really enough.
Interstellar travel, by the scale of one human lifetime and equipement/technology that we can create with the ressources available on this planet, is nearly impossible to reach anyway.
Cutbacks to NASA are preventing interstellar space travel? What technology exists to enable interstellar space travel? We haven't even gone back to the moon. Give your head a shake. lol
Interstellar space travel, are you kidding! We will be luck to ever get humans on Mars. Enjoy the movie, but don't think just popping in and out wormholes is possible.

This really doesn't tell us much. But I'll go out on a limb and say it's probably about mankind's first interstellar voyage. And it's directed by Chris Nolan? Shut up and take my money!
It's about the struggles of discovering wormholes and shifting time.
Wrong it's going to have time travel intergrated in the film as well. Look it up.
Humanity in general is currently, more so than ever before I feel, very inward looking and focused only on material wealth, the state of an economy (global or national) and nationalistic sentiments. I hope this movie inspires a little more 'outward thinking' because the sentiments expressed in this trailer are VERY timely. I think we are in desperate need of a little perspective - you certainly won't get it from the media or government. Where are we going as a race?
Like dude.....chill out ! I think it's correct we all stampede over each other in that glorious pursuit of power. Have you ever really felt it ? Like knowing when that last hurdle is cleared and the finish line races towards you ? My dear boy.....it's the most exhilarating thing.....
A slow downward death spiral. As we destroy more of the environment and become more and more greedy. The human race is doomed to die on this rock unless things change.

what sentiments aren't nationalistic? Ever one world gov plan I've seen or heard about seem to be influenced by some nation, or culture proceeding it.
Watching Nolan's trailers are so punishing. They leave you so curious and unfortunately you can't do anything but wait for the movie to release. Hats off to the fabulous director.

The tone, the narration by M.M, The visuals and the score !
Just read the 2008 draft of the script before Nolan took over a rewrote it.
I thought the story was solid, fascinated to see how the story has changed and is played out on screen.

its funny to read all these comments complaining the trailer don't show anything. its a teaser, people. this is how a good tease works. it is meant just to show the tone. remember dark knight's teaser? just a bat sign with voice overs. nothing more. this is a good teaser. a really good one

I... I don't understand what this movie is about. But this trailer was emotionally tugging. You had my curiosity. Now you have my attention.
If you don't know what it's about, go and read the description on IMDB and then watch this Teaser. It's a brilliant trailer, can't wait.
Nolan is a real genius and this movie will be a masterpiece.

From what I heard, the movie is about time travel and/or entering different dimensions of time and space.
It is about to dare, once again, to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known ;)

For those who don't know what this movie is about: a group of voyagers who make use of wormholes to travel through space and time. Based on the theories of physicist Kip Thorne.

My take on this teaser: the world has some sort of food shortage, and something far, far away (i.e., interstellar) holds the answer. Matthew McConaughey's character is one of the chosen astronauts to join the mission. In the last few scenes we see him driving away from his or his parent's home, upset that he may never see them again. Then we get the final scene of him and the rest of the crew departing earth in the rocket as his father/brother/relative and child/niece/nephew watch on.

I've been following the news on the Interstellar site for so long, now finally a teaser... Of course spectacularly done and intriguing, now a years wait for the movie spreads out in front of me :) From "Following" to each of his very latest endeavors, Mr. Nolan has not ceased to amaze me.
I'm so glad batman is done and can go back to doing what he does best. Crazy non linear story telling

Love all films of Christopher Nolan.
This trailer is a political piece saying 'You have two choices America, you can either be buried (keep blowing all of our money on defense) or fly (actually do something cool with our money like go back into space).
While I detest politics in entertainment, I couldn't agree more. People think it is not feasible to go back into space when they know nothing about it. Think about it people, there is enough Helium-3 to power the world for hundreds of years on the moon... And the moon is not light years away, its like ~384 thousand kilometers, that is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
I had a minor role in this film! Can't wait to see the finished product!

In the near future, a probe NASA (now long gone) sent 30 years earlier through a wormhole returns to Earth after a long hunt for life-sustaining planets. Cooper, an engineer, and his youngest son, Murph, stumble upon this probe & well...the rest is pretty damn outstanding! Can't wait for November!
Just by the trailer i can assume that Mathew is gonna win another Oscar straight in a line.
