Hi!! My friend, you are absolutely correct. They are from Dungeons and Dragons. The best way I can describe them to paint a picture for you is that they are a humanoid race, descended from demons/devils. They're not actually evil by nature but looks wise, they have the horns and tails that are characteristic of that archetypical ''evil'' look. Their eyes come in a myriad number of colors and usually they have reddish skin. The have some fascinating lore, tied to Asmodeus, lord of the hells. They're a super popular pick in a lot of DnD tables and games because people enjoy how unique they are I think :D I hope you enjoy the video, and I'd be happy to elaborate on anything at all you want to know more about, whether tieflings or otherwise!

I had them misconstrued as being similar to fawns and seders and other goat like anthropomorphic creatures. I will most definitely make use of your store of knowledge. I write sword/sorcery fantasy myself as a hobby, but life and family traumas have gotten between me and my art for the better part of a decade. I love reading yours and I’m feeling the slight flutters of my poor cowed muse to get back behind the computer keyboard again.

@@DozingDragonASMR thank you!! i’ve actually been doing pretty good recently + my sleep has been sooooo much better than usual 🤭🤭 i’ve been managing to wake + sleep relatively early (for me, at least) whilst actually sleeping a normal amount! also i can’t wait for those new games to come out!! they’re gonna be receiving a lot of money from me when they do, as isn’t there like 3 in the making or something?! 😭😭 although, i suppose they deserve it really as despite me having over 700 hours on the witcher 3 (all on my first playthrough- i spend probably an insane amount of time taking pretty screenshots), i never had to pay a single penny, as my bf had bought it a couple years ago on sale, and steam does that thing where you can share/borrow games from friends’ libraries (thank u to steam considering most other companies don’t even let u play lil multiplayer mini games anymore without owning 2 individual copies of the game) (i’m looking at u, nintendo) 😭🤭😭🤭 (also i was wondering, do you have a twitter account at all ?? either for this sleep story account or just a general one ?? ☺️😇)

@@DozingDragonASMR People rave about the books, but I read The Last Wish and started another but somehow it didn't quite pull me in. Perhaps it was a translation issue, but it just read a bit dry and stilted. I love The Witcher and am a big fantasy fan generally, so I may try again someday. Coincidentally, I do have a self-insert roleplay story with Gemini where I invented a long lost Witcher school, The School of the Fox.
