KD Lang is an amazing entertIaner. She has an amazing voice.Constant Craving as well as Ms Chaterlain is beautiful. I AM a definate fan of hers. And yes I am a black woman.
This song was sung when I was only 10 years old and now I am 38 so nearly 28 years ago it has struck my heart and even she was a back up singer for Roy Orbison back in the 60's and 70's till Roy Orbison passed away right after his last tour
@@kiddozoo if you go to Roy Orbison music videos you will see her there and I know cuz I watch his music videos and my grandparents and I watch his music videos and I know for a fact that kid lang was born in the 40’s
Funny how some songs can stick with you in a comforting way during bad times, and even though it might remind you of them, you still listen. The power of temporary escapism through music I guess.
Great story about two of my Fav songs both! It's that round sound that attracts me I think; I imagine both songs being sung in a round. This one knocks me out - I imagine women of primitive cultures dancing around a fire. And I'm a sucker for a well placed cowbell.
Lang received a writing credit for Rolling Stones' song "Anybody Seen My Baby?", whose chorus sounds strikingly similar to "Constant Craving". Jagger and Richards claimed to have never heard the song before and when they discovered the similarity prior to the song's release, were flummoxed as to how the songs could be so similar. Jagger then soon discovered his daughter listening to "Constant Craviing” on her stereo and realized he had heard the song before many times but only subliminally.
@bdub24j Yes. And where would we be without that escapism? Music, the universal language, allows us to go back and re-experience what was important to us then and gives us the ability to re-live it now. From a time when uncertainty seemed to be the flavor of the day and emotional surrealism was the safest place to be...
The years go by always remains fascinating!
Wow. Thanks KD Thanks Canada 🇨🇦

Her voice is God-given, just listen to it.

Her delivery of the word 'Souls' rips at my heart.
She never disappoints, and always makes my day a little better!
What an amazing voice this woman has. I have always loved the soul she puts into her music.
IMO, she has one of the most smoothest, most beautiful voices anywhere. :)

Just extraordinary all the way around. The song, her passion, the cinematography. Best black and white film/video I've ever seen.
Awesome voice. Great song.
Just an all time masterpiece. It takes a lucky alignment of stars to even create one of these but there it is.

k.d. was born in the 60's. She was never a backup for Roy Orbison. They recorded together later in his career, the first time being 1987.

@@howardboyd9334 She was born Nov. 2, 1961. If she was a backup for Roy in th 60's, she's will be in Guiness World Book.

i think it was Keith Richard's daughter, not Jagger's.
Cool bit of info! Glad he gave her the credit!

The "art" of exploitation of miserables and human indignity... has always been. Great protest.
K.D Lang was my first female crush
