Gee, I hope that I get some of Shelly's hair in my pizza !
You are paying close attention to the video. Thanks!
That is the best pizza I've ever seen in my entire life❤❤
Thank you for watching and your feed-back. I have heard many people say it is their favorite.
Right next door to Shelly's pie is Casey's pizza, I challenge anyone to get a steak Stromboli with pepperoni there, one of the best things I ever ate!
Thank you Truth Seeker for the recommendation! I shall try the Steak Stromboli at Casey's pizza. And thank you for viewing.
Make sure to get it with pepperoni! And please let me know@@pittsburghsteelman8582
Delicious Pizza. Nice video.
It is.
I'm coming soon this looks delicious.from Ohio definitely a true Steelers fan .and this pizza better be the truth 😅
Highly Recommended
How come they don't have a pizza called The Steel Curtain? That's a must-have.
Agreed! They should.
@@pittsburghsteelman8582 it’s ashamed that defense ain’t honored. I’m a Chicago Bears fans, my city but, The Steel Curtain was the best I’d ever seen. The curtain won 4 titles, Bears only 1 , it’s not about stats for the best defense in numbers.
@@dallrevenge9256 the Good Days with the Steel Curtain. I think we'll be pretty good this year.
I enjoyed the 85 Bears Run - like almost everyone did. Great Team.@@dallrevenge9256
I Love Pizzas I sometimes I Want A Monster Peperoni Pizzas.
The Have Monster amounts of peperoni on a Shelly Pie.
Yinz gotta hit Luciano's in Mars. Best pizza in the Burgh!
Definitely not. It's good, nice environment. But it doesn't match some places in the city at all.
Thanks Jeff. I hope to try it some day.
Please give us a suggestion. Pittsburgh does have many great pizza places. Thank you for viewing. @@jordanonofer3886
@@pittsburghsteelman8582 My spots are. Fiore's down on West Liberty Ave on rt19 after the liberty tunnels in south hills, Beto,'s. Pizza house ( police station pizza). The one one out by me that's decent is called The Upper Crust. It's by intersection of saxonburg Blvd and harts run Rd. Frankstown Rd Wood fired Pizza in Penn Hills is a hiddrn little Gem. Eat it there it's better. Anthony's coal fired Pizza and wings and cranberry is good.
@@jordanonofer3886 thank you for your recommendations. I love Fiore's, Beto's and Police Station. I will have to try the wood fired Pizza in Penn Hills. I am not a fan of anything coal fired but I will some day try anthony's. Thanks!!!!
Steelers, pirates, penguins and Pittsburgh panthers fans will like these during gamedays.
No doubt! Here We Go!!!!!
Call that pepperoni dough. awesome
Agreed. Sometimes it is too much peperoni but I like that they aren't skimping. You can usually take some off if it is too much for you. Thank you for viewing.
@@pittsburghsteelman8582My father in-law always complained that the more toppings you add the less you get in total. 1 topping pep would be a good single layer. They are dumping the whole bag on. I love me some fine dough well cooked. Looks good. cheers
@@scoobtoober2975 I agree that this might be too much topping for some people but Troy and I liked it. Thank you for viewing.
Pasquerella's in McKees Rocks (before Mr. P retired) was the best! Doughboys is excellent, too!
Thank you Chris! I very much enjoy Doughboys. They probably have my favorite hoagies. I did a video on Doughboys also, delicious. Thanks, Pittsburgh Steel Man
We will be traveling back to Italy next month and we will let you know how their Pizza stacks up against Pittsburgh's Top Pizzas.
Great Pizza in Italy.
very interesting👍 i love pizza. Greetings from Rome, Italy
I know you make great pizza in Italy. This Pizza is probably in Pittsburgh's Top 5.
American style. I just got back from 2 weeks in Italy visiting family about 1 1/2 hours south of Parma. Home of the Prosciutto di Parma and Parmigiano Reggiano
Thank you for viewing! Caio! Caio!
Can you please review Aiellos Pizza in Squirrel Hill?
I will Mr. John. We will likely review Aiello's this summer. Thank you for your suggestion and for viewing. STEEL-MAN
I lived in turtle Creek. I lived in plum burro. The pizza place I remember was Frankos. It was awesome.
Thank you for your recommendation. And thanks for viewing. STEEL-MAN
Thank for your memory. And thanks for viewing!

Troy needs to eat his crust.
Agreed
But what I hate worse is people that take a nibble out of a chicken wing.
@@pittsburghsteelman8582 yeah, that drives me crazy.
Where are you at again ?
Shelly Pie in Turtle Creek. Thank you for watching.
That pizza looked delicious
It was. Try it if you every visit Turtle Creek near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Please par bake mine. Why is the center uncooked? You have to par bake it.
Thank you for watching.
no hairnet?
Thank you for viewing. You should tell them to wear hairnets.
You guys should have went up the street to Vincent's, I heard the employees at Shelly's all quit Vincents, and opened their own, using the same ingredients.
We are planning to visit Vincent's this summer. We tried last year but we went on a day they were closed. I have never had the original with the Original Vincent. Thank you for watching!
You can't pick up a piece of Vincent's pizza, it's more knife and fork style, unless you let it cool for like 30min, but they have the best pepperoni in the world!@@pittsburghsteelman8582
Also I heard that people who quit at Vincents opened "Shelly Pie" and use the same ingredients, so it's probably super close in taste....I had shelly's once, and remember it being very Doughy@@pittsburghsteelman8582
My buddy said if there weren't cigar ashes in the pizza, you know Vinny didn't make it and it wasn't as good! Funny, kinda running joke with Pittsburgers, because he was always smoking a cigar while making the best pies! @@pittsburghsteelman8582
Looks good, unfortunately the best pizza around the burgh was Pasqurelli's, but the owners got old and closed up. 😢. Nowadays I'd say the best three are Vincent's, mineos, and doughboy's
Thank Tom. I did a review of Mineo's and Doughboy's also. Both excellent pies.
@@pittsburghsteelman8582 too bad you didn't catch Pasqurellis b4 they retired..Nothing even comes close. The old man is still alive but I hear he won't give up the recipe
Salvatore’s in wilkensburgh
Nice! You have to respect his recipe. Hopefully he has a family member to give it to. @@tomd3741
Thank you for your recommendation!@@Gosamabincalvin
All I can say is I'm hungry. Looked Good 👍
Definitely give Shelly Pie a try. I have traveled all over the world trying pizzas and this one is World Class.
:48 touches her hair/face?
You are watching the video very closely. Thank you.
Pizza looks DELICIOUS!!!❤
It is. Try it out if you are in the Turtle Creek area.
All soft flop no crispy prop , you gotta have that crunch 🤦♂️
Order it extra crispy. It was perfect for me this time.
Pizza doesn't always need to be crispy
I got this pizza twice in the last 3 months and it’s been absolutely deplorable. Disgusting slop. The dough was horribly undercooked and everything was just falling apart. Will not go back.
Thank you for your input.
I appreciate your brutally honest critique. I did not think it looked good in the video. The pepperoni was not fully cooked and the dough looked like dry bread. The scores at the end of the video made no sense.
@@emageemage3807 so the crust, like the outer rim, is OKAY. Crunchy and acceptable. But everything inside of that is literally raw undercooked dough. First time I picked it up and took it to my office 10min up the road in Wall. Everyone said “nooo you gotta get it in house” which is just stupid… it’s pizza not a steak. So I dined in with 2 coworkers and it was even worse than the first time. I’ve taken to calling it “Shitti Pie” haha Calientes across the bridge by sheetz is infinitely better and their downtown location is just as good. The XL Pizza with Meatball is my go too
Thank you for your input. I have enjoyed Calientes pizza many times but I like Shelly Pie much better. I will go back and give Calientes another chance. Thanks.@@oakridgereview1359
@@pittsburghsteelman8582 hey man, I got coworkers who swear Caliente is trash and they PREACH that Shelly Pie is world class haha not knocking you at all if you liked it. Pizza and Burgers are 2 things I’m vocal about lol I like you’re attitude and approach to your reviews, they’re solid and good! Just not cutting Shelly pie slack here
This looks nasty.
We enjoyed it.
Thank you for your feedback.
Bro 8x2+9+10 = 35 not 9.2, am I the only one confused by this?
Thank you for watching.
My show. My math. The sum is not to the sum of its parts. Thank you for watching. STEEL-MAN
Looks pretty soupy to me.
Thank you for your comments and for watching. Steel-Man
Doughboys pizza is the best pizza in Pittsburgh Dormont baby 🍕
Doughboys is great and is in McKees Rocks.
Doughboys is awesome!
Doughboys dahn the rocks

I enjoy Doughboys also and did a video there also. Thanks!

Delicioso!
Absolutely Not, that Burnt ass Pizza was totally unacceptable, I'd told them to redo it or lose business
Thank you for watching.
I’m gonna pass on a pizza review from two ladies who drink strawberry margaritas.
Thank you for your opinion. No Shelly Pie for you!
You're no Dave Portnoy.
Thank you for viewing and keep watching Dave Portnoy's videos. For something different than a Dave Portnoy's video, try a Pittsburgh Steel Man Pizza Review.
Shelly Pies was disgusting the last few times I’ve had it. I’ll never pay for it again. That’s for sure
OK. Thank you for your opinion.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Right On!
I’m guessing Pittsburgh doesn’t have good pizza
Surprisingly, we have very good pizza.
what a mess
The Lions are a Mess.
Nothing like stealing another concept....
I never had the original Vincent's but I plan on trying the current Vincent's soon. Thank you for viewing.
To thick no love slapped together to much grease
Thank you for your comment. Lots of people say Shelley Pie is their favorite pizza in Pittsburgh.
Personally, I prefer some grease on my pizza as it gives it the tangy flavor I prefer. To each their own. Thank you for viewing and commenting.
Tha sloppy soggy gooey mess Is not a pizza.
Thank you for you opinion. I love it. Many people say Shelly Pie is their favorite.
I Don t Know What is this...BUT FOR SHURE IS NOT PIZZA:::: Terrible
Thank you for your input
That pizza is a mess. Its full of grease and it doesnt even have any sauce. I would rate it a 2
We enjoyed Shelly Pie. Thank you for viewing.
Pizza looks like sloppy garbage
Everyone can have their opinion. It is delicious.
