Christian love, and peace to you Fr. John. You make so much sense in an age of church abuse. May the church gain real men who are real priests, like you, to replace the predators in the church.

I have always trusted God like a child. I should hav been dead over 37 times in my life. Including running my car straight through a house. I have always had and willing attitude and will to give my love to Him. I kept asking God why I’m here. Well finally after 46 years I got my answer. The answer was the reason has always been my name. Well my jaw hit the floor when I founded out what the meaning of my name meant. My whole name means most common meanings.
First-name Warrior , Middle-name gift from God , Last-Son of a Carpenter. Like I said my jaw hi the floor. We all have a purpose. Don’t ever let someone take your crown. God Bless

Great homily, he gets to the point and speaks the truth. I wish every Catholic priest was more like Father Hollowell. A truly Holy man.

Yes! I have been trying to do more than "just enough to get by" and I love it. I won't say that it's easy. At first, you're attacked worse than ever because demons don't want you in a state of grace and they definitely don't want you helping others to come back to God but it IS wonderful to live with a sense of purpose!

What incredible Lenten gifts!! This is the perfect way to spend church money. In times like these when the souls of the Church and her people are impoverished, it’s important to focus inward in order to bring new life to ourselves and then ultimately to others.

Blessing Father. I've shared this video with over 2 thousand people on my Facebook site. I'm eternally grateful to you for these videos. I will be adding you to our Pro-life Ministry Rosary prayers. What you are doing is exactly what came to my heart while in prayer, and that's making kits with Holy Water, Blessed salt, blessed candles, Rosary, brown Scapular etc. I could use help in implementing this and other issues. Thank you Father. Have you ever read the book "AA 1025" Plz let me know, thank you Father. Happy Ash Wednesday.

*For those having trouble fasting:* Try something easier first, such as not drinking pops/soft drinks for some weeks; no restaurants if you're used to go every now and then; no videogames for one or more weeks, replacing them by spiritual reading; replace watching movies by watching videos such as this one, etc. *Small steps can later be replaced by bigger ones, which will give you better resistance against sin.* While doing these efforts, pray one rosary everyday.

I have being doing spiritual warfare for years, for seven months recently I prayed with orthodox Catholic, Christian , and Catholic all over the world, most of those who responded seemed to be from Egypt , India, Pakistan, and Mexico City, something about facebook and youtube when I promoted the prayer video's. When I was younger I said a Hail Mary for every step of the US Bank tower in Portland Oregon, then Our Fathers on the way down, then took the elevator and prayed up and down in the spirit, I believe in praying in tongues , I was anointed by the elders of a joint ministry of Methodist, Anglican, and Assembly of God , called People's Church in Salem , Oregon. The minister was retiring and asked any young man to come forward who feels called to ministry and the elders will anoint him. I was baptized catholic after all that and confirmed by Jesuit Priest in the local community I lived. I didn't believe in the same teachings of Pentecostal about having to speak in tongues to prove their faith, but secretly I marched around the World Trade Center with a constitution copy in my back pocket praying in tongues about the principalities, this is the center in Oregon not the towers, and long before the attack. I recently read about the tales of the apostles timothy and Thomas in Egypt , Greece, and India. Thomas made the sign of a cross on the ground and destroyed the Brahma temple, so I decided to try making crosses in the ground, I went up to the lake near by and made a bunch of crosses to tear down a lot of evils, and then around my house, a few at the catholic church in Eugene, and a few at the court house in a near by town about the ten commandments. I have done lots of other things to war, always praying constantly. Atleast an Amen under my breath.

We look to the Scriptures and see that when Paul explains the doctrine of justification, he goes back to the Old Testament to Genesis 15. There the Scriptures say of Abraham, “He believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness” (Gen. 15:6).
When Paul develops the doctrine of justification by faith alone, he is saying that when God counts somebody righteous on the basis of faith, it is not because He looks at them and sees that they are inherently righteous. Rather, they have been clothed by the imputation, or transfer, of the righteousness of Christ to that person by faith.
This is why we say that the single meritorious cause of our salvation is the transfer, or counting, of Jesus’ righteousness for me. Not only did He die to pay the penalty for my sins, but He lived a perfect life of obedience and fulfilled the law for those who put their trust in Him. This is what we’re talking about in imputation. That was the single, central, most important point of the sixteenth century Reformation.

the 'Active Role' is something all 'Humans' have ... 'Resiliency' ... and the Church Population definitely lost that over the past 1000 years ... Charity towards others well-being is everything / extremely important to pray to recognize how others are being lead away ... whatever you can do will make a difference ... a mere 2% of the population observing 'Life' will turn the 'death society' / revert the 'Nihilism' mind-set that is coming out of the 'Modern/Post-Modern' mind-set of this past 150 years / the only choice has always been 'Life' - Respecting All Life includes the entire global population knowing to recognize the traits that lead ... those lost struggling souls that need Jesus ...
