Great video! I appreciate you taking it slow, with specific details and up close illustrations. That’s what beginners need to be able to get started, also with options available along the way. Keep up the great work, will look for more in the future. Thanks
Thanks Johan. That was a very informative video. Quite honest too! That's not seen a lot anymore, just a bunch of people that tell you that you need a shop with 20 tables and $10,000 worth of tools to make a simple project.
Thank you so very much for taking the time and sharing your expertise. I am a beginner and you answered nearly every question that's been challenging me as I get started learning to use the tools properly! Thank you again!
Hi Johan, First I want to thank you for taking the time to post tutorials. I place a piece of scoot guard under the leather I am tooling. It is a nonslip fabric that is used in the recreational vehicle industry to protect dishes from flying around in cupboards. It can be purchased from RV, Marine and dollars stores.
Oops - wrong video! I'm thinking about the video where you show a very 'thick' blade and talk about how the cuts from that blade look almost beveled because of the width of the cut.

Hi Johan! Thanks for your video! :) Whats the name of the last tool you use on video and where can I find a good one? regards! ;)
Daniela Hereid The current Tandy Craftool bevellers are good - here I used B802, B803 and B836.
Where do you get those really thick swivel knife blades like the one you are using in this video?
Those are the standard blades from Tandy Leather.
I see these are on close-out:
