My fondest Christmas memory was the one with the least amount of presents. I spent Christmas with my late father when I was 22. We drank sherry, and talked all day. We talked about his childhood and his dreams. Made me realize our parents were children once too, with hopes and aspirations, sadness for the things that never came. What I wouldn’t give to go back to that Christmas one more time.
