synergetics was a favorite book of mine in the early 80's. I had both volumes. it really was a novel way of thinking. 40 years later i'm interested again at 63 y/o.
This is brilliant and very much in the key of the projects i've been working on lately, particularly reminiscent of Arthur Young's work - which i've been comparing with the mystical work of Rudolph Steiner very much like you are comparing Flood and Fuller. In fact the 4 spheres model seems to map perfectly onto the 7-fold process models of Young and Steiner; 3 stages descending through the spheres toward the center, then 3 stages going back up, thereby giving a total of 7 stages of evolutionary/involutionary process; 3 of Katabasis (descent), 3 of Anabasis (ascent), and 1 "Axis". The stacks of tetrahedrons also reminds me of Jung's stacks of Icosahedrons in AIon.
I’ve literally followed a similar thread of characters which is wild. Throw in Walter Russell to this list. Same concept, Gravitation/Radiation, God, and the back and forth dynamic of the universe as Electricity
Phenomenal video! I was completely unfamiliar with Fludd up until this point, but it seems that both he and Bucky tapped into the same timeless truth and translated it into geometry and art. Delightful! If you are not already familiar, from the bottom of my heart I plead and emplore you to check out the work of both Robert Edward Grant, and the physicists at the Resonance Science Foundation. They have applied mathematics to these spheres (Planck spherical units) and written physics equations from them and unified quantum mechanics with general relativity through holographic/fractal quantization of spacetime via these units. Thanks for these wonderful videos!!!
Great stuff! Something I was thinking is that rendering the printed diagrams as 3D volumes and surfaces in a program like Unity3D could really help bring the concepts to life and illustrate the geometries in a way that the original publications never could.
Yes, except there is a complication arising from the fact that all those programs implement "3D" environments, normalizing the cube and rendering all triangles, hexes and spheres irrational. Synergetics is inherently and a priori 4D, just as Universe, hence it is much easier to realize all those models with actual embodied models than it is trying to simulate them in the artificial "space" of such programs. To actually create the structures is, comparatively, child play... see my channel for some instructions and hexplorations...
Buckminster sounds like a guy the somehow developed a theory that melds postmodernism, mechanical engineering, architecture, and physics. Which is almost an oxymoron lol. Postmodern Physical Theory of Everything. How do men like this come up with abstract theories like these? It’s crazy
Good observation - Bucky is a 'quaternarian' thinker, meaning that his thought is based on a 'complete judgement' involving four elements. It's like an intuition of universal knowledge, beyond all categorical subdivisions. Fludd had the same intuitions and even wrote an explicit defense of the quaternary. I'll be expanding on this idea in my next video in relation to Stephen Wolfram. Thanks for stopping in!
@@ScientificGenius oh yea. I try to understand things, especially science or philosophy oriented ideas or theories if I think the adjustment in my personal thought the process as a result of understanding, even a little bit of the theory or idea, will be beneficial for me going forward. A new way to understand the world. This definitely fills that category so I will definitely be following you bro.
Ironically though, Bucky's ideas and principles are in fact non-abstract. They are all based on direct observation of actual embodied behavior of systems of Universe. That is why he seems so "out there": everything he think we know about reality is utterly based on a framework of ultimate abstraction, designed to allow approximation of reality but never actual realization. Synergetics is in that sense radical as it developed a complete understanding of the geometry of spacetime independent of the ancient ideas and fairy tales of the greek and babylonian geometers. Bucky has essentially proven Euklid and co mistaken. The outcome of that offers us a comprehensive framework to regain our innate capacity for spherical thinking and reintegrate wholly with Universe.
@@HaileISela do you really think his method is better? Do we have any surefire way to test it against anything else? I feel like everyone has a slightly different interpretation of synergetics. We don’t all think in quaternion. Not saying it isn’t the more correct way. I’m actually intrigued by this series and I follow probably on average 60% of what he says.
@@jellymop well, I can only speak from a couple of years of continuous experience gathering, playing and getting familiar with the very structures of spherical thinking and to me that is "surefire" enough. there's indeed a whole story to be told just about fire from a synergetic point of view. in any way, Bucky experimentally and experientially proved the Euclidean axioms to be mistaken and unscientific. And still, to this day, people believe in platonic solids, static space, linear time. there's a paradigmshift happening that has no precendent in the "history of civilization". and it is really about spacetime to happen...
I wish this channel had also a community either on skool, discord or reddit

Very good channel! Thanks for your work.
Fantastic job! This series is at the top of my list! Thank you!
much appreciated moist_yet_crispy

Excellent work with these videos! I didn't realize Bucky was so out there.
I made a UA-cam yesterday (Nov 6, 2022) wherein I reference this one, making positive remarks, around the 5:26 mark.

Amazing!

Congratulations. It takes one to know one, BTW.

You need more clickbaity titles to bring viewers in to appreciate all your hard work.
Yeah, going for the clickbaity thumbnail on my next video, coming soon.
@@ScientificGenius Looking forward to it.
Loving it! Great video!
