it MIGHT come back before Pixar Play Parade starts (It doesn't start until April 13th) and I can't see them going 3 months without SOMETHING going down the parade route
It's only going on a hiatus for 2018 because of all the Pixar crap. It's supposed to come back after Star Wars land opens. And apparently starting 2018, Paradise Pier is going to be changed to Pixar Pier for all of eternity. According to some forums and confirmed by the train conductor on the Disneyland Railroad, don't ask why, all the rides will have a name change except Mickey's fun wheel. Just thought that be some info you'd like to know.
Danny Eyheralde There is too much construction on the parade route right now, the parade route is being rerouted near small world and the construction won’t be done until Pixar fest begins, Main Street is also under construction and getting new brick work for the trolley tracks. Also before Soundsational they went 5 months without a parade
Right now, all Parades are down with construction on Main Street. Come April 13th, Play Parade will take place at Disneyland Park with Paint the Night at DCA. I read that when Pixar Fest is done, Soundsational will either return or a new parade will debut

essentially Disneyland and DCA are swapping parades Pixar Play Parade moves over from DCA and will begin performances April 13th. that same night Paint The Night will make it's California Adventure debut (with new floats being added to it later that year)

The way they returned it on january of 2019 and gave it’s final performance never on July 2019
We miss the show 😑 but it will be back soon January 2019🚀🍾
