- Mickey Mouse and his pals are tuning up and getting ready to jam like never before as they ride down Main Street, U.S.A. on a colorful cavalcade of floats - creating an atmosphere that can only be described as...soundsational! Adding to the fun, each float has its own unique musical style, like crowd-pleasing Bollywood and South American rhythms.
Filmed on July 31st and August 1st, 2011.
This parade really got me jamming!!!
I knew a girl who was “friends” with Donald during this time, when I worked for Disney. And I always wondered if it was her whenever I’d watch the parade on the days I’d spend in the park.
Really cool to watch Mickey just banging it out on the drums.

My 4 year old watches your video every day. She loves it! I've watched it enough times now to say that it's fantastic. I'll echo what others have said - it looks very well done. The transitions are great.
I notice the details of how you filmed it at multiple locations, but only because I've watched it a gazillion times. But what's great about that is that you a) don't notice it (unless you're looking for it), and b) the way you transition! The shots go back and forth - it's pretty amazing!
I'd kill for that Mufasa/Simba animatronic!

Honestly, bar none, this is the best video of this awesome parade! Really captures it. GREAT editing of the music. I wish they would bring back the live brass and drums on the last float, but that's not on you. YOU do an awesome job on this video.

@JonNSteve It will be roughly from 35-60 minutes, it just depends really on what happens along the way.

Kudos to DOT for THE BEST video edit I've seen of one of Disney's most engaging parades. The music soundtrack for this parade is also one of the best they have done. Your photography and superb editing showed off the mind boggling costume details. I'm trying to get a question answered. Purhaps you can help. How long does it take for the cast to complete the parade route for starting gate to the end gate? Anyone got a clue?

This is reasonably well-edited, but the zoom makes it hard to watch. If you are shooting dancers, you need their whole bodies in frame, especially if the choreography is complex.
i love this vid! was this before some changes were made coz the fins on areils tail look plain and cheap and when i saw the parade they were much better... Just wondering it doesnt rlly matter.... Gr8 vid! Faved :)

It's been awhile since I've watched this. It's so good. Coming back for another viewing was a treat. What a great peice of eye candy. When you watch other vids of this parade you don't get to enjoy the complete soundtrack and dance routines. Thank you again for all the effort you put into this. What camera did you use? I want to get one.
Re a few comments: Only got to film the parade twice, so there were some moments I wanted to get but didn't; the big group bell-kick by the chimney sweeps for example. And the Peter Pan sword fighting was a letdown because they didn't have swords that week. Also, in one of the parades Goofy's little drum float broke down and messed up the timing so that's why he's featured for all of 5 seconds.
