the final film in the maze runner trilogy was emotional to say the least. i'm still crying about newt... editing this video was difficult.

When I saw the movie in theatres, almost everyone started crying when Newt died because they all read the book and they knew what was going to happen from page 256. And I didn’t expect it to happen since I didn’t read the book. And fun fact, there’s a scene where Newt explains about his attempted suicide to Thomas.
I cried more than I’ve ever cried before in my life when Newt died.
And I really think they should’ve kept that scene with Newt taking about his attempted suicide because it really explains why he is so determined to save Minho.
I saw it in theaters and I’m a huge book fan. So at the first sign of Newt getting sick I started crying. And then when he started getting really sick i started full on sobbing. I cried for the last hour and a half of this movie. I have never cried so hard at a movie in my life cuz Newt is my favorite character of all time. The entire theater was in tears as well. Ive seen this movie like 30 times and i cry every time.

thomas writing teresa at the end was such a mood killer.
Teresa is so stuck in her decision because of her backstory:
She lived alone with her Mum, who ended up catching the virus. Her Mum then locked herself in the basement and would scream and claw at the walls so much that it was engrained in Teresa’s head. She could hear her mother’s wailings even when out of the house.
One day, she wakes up and the wailing has stopped. It’s been 2 years. She opens the door to the basement to find her mother in a pool of blood with her eyes gouged out. Based on hearing, her mother turns to her and whispers “they’ve stopped. The visions have stopped.”
Teresa was a little girl who had to watch her Mum descend to insanity and hear her pain for 2 years, which only ended by her Mum tearing out her own eyes.
When WICKED (as it’s called in the books, contrary to WCKD in the films) comes a knocking, she offers herself because she never wants another person to go through what she has.
The Maze Runner is the perfect story of “do the ends justify the means?”
Can you justify putting literal teenagers through hell and back over and over again for years by the fact that you might eventually get the cure to this horrible virus?
My friend was devastated since she both had a crush on Newt and Sangster.

Girl I'm still crying and I watched it 2 years ago, so i kinda feel you.
Newt was and still is my favourite character and I told my friends that I was reading the third book. One of them decided to spoil his death for me and I have never been more mad at someone :(
But anyway , I love this movie even though part of me wished they changed Newt's fate but I get why they didn't.
On a much happier note , Newtmas is still the better ship 💜😂

Teresa was one of them, and by her last deeds she gained a place among them, so she deserves to be on the rock and be remembered as a heroine, not being suited to you is another thing
Loved the reaction to all three films ,and I loved the films ,from the characters to the action ,but I preferred the books ,I mean they are so different,the plot of the last two films is completely different,not going to spoil but I also hated Teresa at some point ,until I realized why she did everything and in the books she did sth worse but it was set up and even Eva page was ok with what she did .Also it was a lot more difficult to read what was happening to Newt ,and I actually didn't like Aris in the books . Thomas's bond with Brenda and even Teresa was better in the books .Anyway ,The Maze runner -Divergent -hunger games series are top

I never read the books but the movies are intense as hell I just wonder if Tarissa was hated in the books why couldn’t they change her character for the movies lol. The stunts in these movies are good & I feel like In stuff like this, Last of Us & Walking dead if your going with the cure plot have it actually work instead of being a useless plot that will never work out lol. Now they jsut have to live in the apocalypse
