I think it was quite poetic that you unknowingly used on old Dutch bible to make a Christmas wreath. After all the birth of Chris is why we celebrate Christmas in the first place, so the Bible still represented religious beliefs.
The music paper is very festive, for those out there who want a more aged look, the old tea or coffee staining techniques on the edges gives it an added dimension in depth too. Happy wreath making everybody ☺

The One. The ONLY. Rebecca. Robeson. Brilliant. As is usual. Love this. I'm going to make one for a friend who is a consummate musician as a Christmas gift. I have ideas for a little bit of additional drama. Love ya, Rebecca!

Simply Splendid ! it's now 2023 & style never goes out of fashion.
May I suggest a variation - instead of sheet music consider Christmas wrapping paper there are so many examples of fabulous design and colour themes from expensive to basic. And one can produce a different one very year and give away the previous version as a gift. This wreath concept is environmentally friendly and gets idle fingers nimble and busy.

Yes! I’ve only watched the first 5 seconds and I’m already excited. I made one a couple years ago and used music sheets too! I printed them myself because I couldn’t bear to destroy a book - even a music book. I also cut them down and trimmed the edges because I didn’t want all of the extra white space in the margins. I stained them with coffee and burned the edges to add a vintage vibe to it. I added silver and gold decorations in the middle.

What incredibly well presented instructions! There seems to be no end to your skills! The music sheets as a theme was genius and it doesn’t go unnoticed that it was so typical “Rebecca” in that it echoed your Christmas tree. Only 2 minutes into this video....new sub, too. Your apology for using a bible....and an old one at that....might bring out more nay sayers But, consider this....dont you think it's quite fitting to use a Christian text to celebrate the reason there is a Christmas in the first place? This 89 year old lady finds it quite appropriate.....even endearing. So glad I found, by accident....this most interesting video. I probably wont be using our 100 year old family bible...but you can bet I'm making this...and proudly hanging it, too. Looking forward to checking out your past objects d'art....what a treat. *Recliner Babe*

I have made MANY wreaths from old hymnals. My church gladly gave me all I needed because they were put in storage after they converted to electronic screens. I so enjoyed reminiscing the old hymns I have enjoyed over the years as I made the wreaths. So many ways to complete the centers, as well as using spiral grape vine wreaths on the back for added depth.

I am a retired School Librarian. I decided to order a lot of little books this year and add ribbon to hang them. I have a small tree that is going to be a "Book Tree" I may put it in our bedroom because I have 2 or 3 trees in our living room area. I like the idea that you have and I may use some book pages to fill in. I may try to make a ribbon using some old pages of books. I have to get my library DIY hat on first!

Of her wedding stationary!!! Then I used gold, silver Med & small Christmas balls along with strands of white pearls beads. I will send you a picture. Thanks for inspiring us 💕💕💕

I created my wreath after you posted the first video! I had a music/old fashioned themed Christmas with my collection of Byers Carolers, my sheet music paper wreath and old Christmas sheet music paper for placemats as well as many other touches. In the center of my wreath I placed a piece of my mom’s gold rhinestone costume jewelry, which makes it especially dear to me! I love it so much I keep it hung year round in our guest room. Thanks again for all of your inspiration! Merry Christmas 🎁‼️

However, I'm now in one place & not going anywhere in the near future thanks to the medical situation we are all living, yes us medical professionals included. I love your idea of putting sheet music into this wreath instead of a book. So seasonal!

Made a wreath using an old dictionary. Turned out great! Thanks for the video tutorial.

I’ve used the pop tops of sofa cans to hang my travel plate. I attached them to the backs of the plates with a dab of E600. Like you say, “use what you’ve got.”

Hi Rebecca good to see you making this beautiful item once again. Ironic that people complain about using books. The first place I ever saw this design was on our local public library's entry door. I was too tickled. I made one as well, however the books I purchased came from the thrift store so I got two books that were five by seven for $,25. And to make the pages look old I soaked a tea bag and squeezed down the brown color around the top side and bottom edges of the book. I let it dry out for a few days. I'll be making one again, but using your measurements. Love you and wish you and family a wonderful holiday season.❤❤❤

Your “thumbs up” item makes me laugh. It’s not subtle, but it’s effective. I love this step by step video. Thank you, Rebecca 👏👏👏

I made one of these years ago and when the holiday season was over I spray painted it to coordinate so I had it up all year long.

Love this wreath diy. Also loved the broken mirror Christmas tree. I hope you or Sharah are using it in Tulsa. It was so magical.

This is still one of my favourites. I need to make a new one soon. I still have my original from your 1st video. It’s ageless and always draws compliments from visitors to our home.
P.S. cannot wait for this year home tour. Congrats on your beautiful new home.
