Actually he said in the interview he was studying criminal law.....did he actually say he wanted to be a prosecutor? Or is it just that he worked for the local DA for a short time? Sad tragic murder.
I think compulsion is stronger than reason. Imagine have a fantasy for months, maybe years... And you finally get to live the fantasy... Would you throw away all the little things that let you get that fantasy, and throw away everything... I think the desire to re-live that moment, through real things (we would call evidence, not sure what he would call it) is just too strong.
@@lorimiller4301 Good point. I have heard from people with some knowledge on the answer it helps them re-live it, though usually the compulsion to feel it even more causes to act again for something new. Always chasing that high. Most of us have way less destructive ways (i.e. I am often chasing the high of burgers, pizza, ice cream) but unfortunately, for whatever reason (nature, nurture, trauma, abuse, etc.) some people get hardwired for horrible acts for that high.
He said in the notorious news interview that she (Lauren) was supposed to be moving out that day, so that a new student could move in. I think it got down to “if I’m gonna do this, I gotta do it now”. He’d clearly been fantasizing about it for a long time, and I think it just came down to “now or never” for him. Maybe that’s the reason he didn’t really have a plan in the aftermath? He just acted in the moment, something like panic, knowing she would soon be gone forever if he didn’t? I highly doubt she had any plans to stay in contact with that fkn weirdo, and likely he knew that... But, I dunno. Just a guess. Far be it from me to even try to think like a homicidal, rape porn loving, food and TP hoarding, zombie apocalypse believing, panties on the head wearing, sword and dagger collecting, loner, pedo, incel, sociopathic narcissistic drag. Thank Odin that I can’t relate, actually! Sick FREAK!!!!
Ryan Yewell The things he kept seem like souvenirs of the relationship that existed in his mind. He was obsessed with her and she probably thought he was just that oddball from her class and apartment building. . I’m thinking that the end of school got him a little panicky. She would move away and have a great life without him so this was how he kept her.

So few things we can count on these days besides the sideways flag, the foam, the soft lighting, the little pencil cup, the earbuds, and our mustachioed friend in the dark hoodie and ball cap cracking us up about horrendous rapists and murderers :)
I'm glad you are covering all the cases I have followed for a number of reasons; like you, none of my friends share my interest, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one with this interest, and finally even with these dark topics you have me laughing out loud.
Just want to add a couple things in here. I've been in Lauren's situation kind of- I was never the super pretty popular girl, I was ok I guess- but I did have stalker neighbours when I was in my 20's and it is creepy. She was probably on guard around him all the time and just had in her mind "just be cool, those weird things he does are just in your head" because when you are the pretty popular girl, she would have so many guys smarming around her it would be almost normal. Like I said I wasn't the blonde preppy type and even I had 7 of em at one point all hovering around. It can get exhausting. Bearing that in mind, imagine waking up to him in your room with a mask on (wasn't there a mask?) and not even having tome to process what is going on before stuff goes down. Effing hell that is awful. Also regarding the cleanup- the way it wasn't really cleaned up properly indicates that Stephen didn't do a lot of cleaning on his own. I'm not saying he was a 100% slob, we don't know this, but I'd put money down on that his mom would come over periodically and clean his bathroom for him, lots of moms do that for college age boys (don't ask me why, I never understood the whole mommas boy thing). So he probably only really knew about tidying up but not really cleaning in the "spick and span" sense and that's why the interrogator mentions this in the interview. Anyway, these are interesting :) thanks
I'm really struggling with waiting for the end of this case when the detectives can't take it anymore and start yelling at him. But don't rush through just because of me! Take your time, please! Make lots of videos! They're all great.
I don’t think he was trying to get away with it either right away I thought he wanted to represent himself and see if he could get himself off of a murder wrap to prove to himself what a great mastermind he is in his own head!!
Read an article about how he used to talk to a *former* (haha I’ll bet!) roommate about how to commit/get away with the perfect murder. The former roommate said this murder, and the aftermath, were strikingly consistent. Lends credibility to your theory. A legend in his own mind, huh? Freak.
I think is because he really thought the body will be gone when they come to pick up the garbage, and he wanted to keep all the things that remind him of her because she was now gone forever and those little precious things that belong to her where gonna be his forever and didn’t wanted to dispose that, was dearly to him... that’s why in the media interview for the tv, he almost passed out when they mention to him they had a body...
You're my fave Tuber! I'm sweetened yr doing LA cop Stephanie Lazarus, (my first major encounter to UA-cam 'Murder Porn', 😗). Big thanks from Liverpool UK. And if ever you do a European stand-up tour, be sure to come to my fair city . Peace out TCL
You mentioned Tammy from the Watts Case, well, The Detectives in the Watts Case vs the Ga. Detectives in this case, on the intelligence scale, was like comparing Grad Students vs Preschool kindergarteners! The Ga Detective trying to "catch" McDaniel by accusing him of having her blood in HIS bathroom drains, was priceless. I believe another Channel, Dr. Todd Grande, made a statement that the two Detectives were vying against McDaniel to win the "Creepiest Guy in the Room Award"! If I ever become a murderer, then you better believe I am going to Ga., to commit the crime!!!!! Love your Channel!!!!! Be Well!
You're 'attachment' theory is quite interesting. That he possibly believed killing her was a way of possessing her and working with her friends and family in the search was a way of having a 'relationship' or at least some kind of proximity is something I would like to see explored in depth. Also, I did not know this goon also had kiddie porn his computer. If Lauren got the creepy vibes from him they were beyond justified.
Whats scary is you do find people who identify with the "lonely loser" aspect of McDaniel and somehow feel like they need to defend him like an extension of themselves.
I heard about this channel in the comment section of the Grant Amato trial and there was a TCL roll call lol I'm so glad I looked this channel up. I've been watching since last night. I love that you don't use jump cuts - it's like we're all having a real conversation. Awesome stuff, buddy :D
TrueCrimeLoser: "Having a master-key would be cool if you were a sicko-psycho-stalker." TrueCrimeLoser also: "I had a master key to my high-school." LOL. Great videos dude, you've got me laughing every night.
I take it back. Just watched him and he is smarter than I thought. He was playing with them. Cooperative, agreeable and he is driving the police mad. All he is doing is keeping his heart rate low and only volunteering the minimum information. He can't be that dim if he is in law school.
You’re missing a lot of information on this, he eventually made a full confession where he explains a lot of the questions you have, the hair the key etc.
The best part about the interview is the way he starts every answer with "eyeen". You know cause it's totally not the most annoying thing you've ever heard...
If he had gotten rid of all the evidence and got away with it all, there may be more murders to follow. But just one question, how did they know who the pair of underwear belonged to? Unless they were used?
I think that he didn't necessarily want to get caught. I think the reason he didn't get rid of the evidence is because he wanted to keep it as trophies, AND he probably wanted to keep the keys to go back in other apartments.
Your question at the end can be easily answered..... he simply did not expect the body to ever be found and never expected to be be a suspect. He’s so socially isolated that he believes he lives outside of the world populated by others. I realised this when I saw his astounding shock when told by a reporter that her body had been found. He could hardly stand up. This interview was on day five and the police interviewed him the same night. I think he was in too much shock to do anything about the evidence and the building was probably crawling with people by this time. But as I said, he believes everything happens to other people and he lives in a self-created bubble in his own world. He Would have thought he was safe in his little world inside his apartment. Very naive, I know, but he has a low IQ.

Quite a possibility that evidence was planted. Without those pieces of evidence the detectives had nothing really except a confession however, a confession does not always acquaint to guilt. Its very interesting and im Sure this story will come up again in the future.
Instead of just deleting my last comment, I'm going to admit that I should have waited to comment and yeah, sounds like some stuff was planted. Or the first set of cops sucked at searching

@@jenniferschultze300 lol yeah, I think I got the Muscle wrong but yeah that was the first video I saw and it just had my jaw on the floor. That and I really think the police officer did an amazing job "filming" that first part. Like in that scene at the TV, I guarantee you the officer made sure that was the only spot for Chris to stand and watch.
I think he really didn't care about getting away with it. He had all the tools and faculties to cover this up, and he just didn't. I still don't know what CW was thinking. Yes NK...bills...his background growing up... But your 2 innocent babies and a wife with another baby...SW was a devout wife trying to bring life into the world...not a thing to trigger him makes any sense. I still think NK knew something about it.
@@bordeauxhouse we may never know the truth. He's a habitual liar. My only regret he wasn't placed in a forensics mental health unit before he chose guilty. I think this would have given a clearer insight to CW and more facts into the murders. I think he should be placed in a facility for the mentally insane. I'm at point CW is in prison. Family he murdered put to rest . The need for all involved to heal. Time to move on. I just wish Susan Cox Powell could found. Austin Renshaw, needs to be found. Justice for Susan and Austin.
It's so strange because he was clearly shocked when he found out a body had been found and he still chose to not discard any of the evidence. Maybe he thought the crime would never be linked to him and that he was smarter than the law enforcement involved in solving this case or maybe he possibly did want to get caught and be known for her murder. Thank you for choosing to talk about this guy because I was mind blown by the interrogation. I even commented below the video I saw months ago that I never would have had the patience to interrogate someone like that if I were in that profession. Guess that's why I'm not 🤷
Narcissist thinks they are smarter than everyone. He did not hide it he thought he had got away with it already. The TV interview in his mind he put on an Oscar worthy performance and had tricked the world, probably still wondering WTF they did not believe my performance.
Exactly. I had a terrible experience with an ex 2018. He was so bizarre and evil. I always loved crime shows etc. But this experience was truly eye opening for me ! I used to watch these things with shock. Now they just make sense. 🤷♀️
Very good video! Interesting, you do a great job keeping to the correct time frame, well also inserting other possibilities aka reasonable doubt. which sadly few people understand even when they are on a jury ! Lastly it would be great if you did one of your stand up comedy routines video!
Agree, finding the underwear and saw packaging that late in the process does seem sketchy. I would not fully discount the good ole boys messing with the evidence. On the other hand, it seems the psychopath compulsion to keep trophies is just as strong as the murderous act. They always keep the trophies. It would almost seem sacrilegious to them to throw them away. Not sure when exactly he was arrested in relation to when the seaches were conducted. Did that last search take place after he confessed to the condom burglaries? And why he would confess to that is completely nonsensical unless he figured they were going to find out where he got the condoms from anyway. A form of twisted thinking damage control. Are there any discovery documents available to the public on this case?
Imagine if there where a bunch of incompetent law enforcement but then just one guy was the only good one. The smart one thinks there is no evidence in the apartment but then remembers everyone around him is stupid and goes to look himself. He finds the evidence and then wants to go to trial but then remembers the prosecutors are idiots to. Edit: I'm making this story up as I go
You just expressed exactly what made me cringe most about those news clips. Bad spelling and grammar are cringy enough, but if you can't even pronounce 4 letter words properly, your cringe factor immediately goes through the roof.
I think he either wanted to get caught, subconsciously or he was over confident about getting away with it and wanted to keep his 'kit' as in his master key and knickers with eye holes so that he could possibly carry on. He was probably thinking the rubbish bins would've been emptied that morning & didn't anticipate the police parking in front of them preventing their collection. It's hard to know what goes on in his mind. I can't wait for your take on the television interview. The part where the interviewer asks him if he knows about the body that was removed from the bin is what I want to know your take on. At first he looks shocked for himself but then has to convert that into horror and concern and has to sit down on the grass. Anyway, thanks for this installment. Excited about the next one.

I think they consider those trinkets as trophies. Memories of their crimes.

If he had gotten rid of all the evidence and got away with it all, there may be more murders to follow.
But just one question, how did they know who the pair of underwear belonged to? Unless they were used?
@Pichael Thompson 83 Stay-van ....WHAAAAA???
He didn’t get rid of the stuff cuz he never thought they would even think he was a suspect. He assumed they would think she was abducted
Can you talk about how he was Raised , His Parents, childhood..... All of it if u know it.
I think that he didn't necessarily want to get caught. I think the reason he didn't get rid of the evidence is because he wanted to keep it as trophies, AND he probably wanted to keep the keys to go back in other apartments.
Yay! Working from home due to snow. I don't have to hide that I'm listening to you. : )

Snowmagodden in Washington?
Another great show!
I can't stop telling people about you!!

Couldn't you say that about literally any crime where evidence is found and the suspect confessed?
Instead of just deleting my last comment, I'm going to admit that I should have waited to comment and yeah, sounds like some stuff was planted. Or the first set of cops sucked at searching

Many thanks from Thailand , almost midnight.
If they searched his apartment before she was found cut up, saw packaging might not have stood out.
Lizard Boy 🦎& Troll Head 😂😂😂😂keep’em coming TCL
And estoic lizard.
It's only the torso that was found in the trash at their place, he got rid of head and limbs in other trashes.
Sounds like the cops planted that evidence. Which wouldn’t Suprise me.
He’s book smart not street smart. No common sense!
Edit: I'm making this story up as I go
Body???? I think I need to sit down..... LMFAO... What a freak!!!! Wait till u see the news clip of him.... Wow!!! I eeen, I eeen, I eeen.......
You just expressed exactly what made me cringe most about those news clips. Bad spelling and grammar are cringy enough, but if you can't even pronounce 4 letter words properly, your cringe factor immediately goes through the roof.
Seriously huh? Wtf. How many times could one clown say I eeen?!
then he fake hyperventilates and fake cries then goes to talking normally... babbling on and on.. very fishy
