Today, let's take a city bus tour in Seoul with me :)
Bus no.272 is a one of bus that runs a long distance in Seoul and runs from Myeonmok-dong to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Yonsei University to Namga Jwa-dong in Seoul. Enjoy the afternoon view of downtown Seoul, which can be seen over the bus windshield.

[Naver Maps] is very useful in South Korea.
Cheongnyangni Station (청량리역) is a station of Seoul Subway Line 1, Gyeongchun Line, Bundang Line And Gyeongui-Jungang Line. It is a Seoul terminus of passenger trains serving the eastern part of South Korea. The Gyeongchun Line will be extended from Sangbong Station to Cheongnyangni Station in September 2016, offering a transfer to Line 1, although only some subway cars will operate till there, with others terminating at Sangbong.[6] A physical transfer between underground and aboveground stations opened on 20 August 2010.[7]
Passenger trains serving the following Korail lines terminate at Cheongnyangni Station:
The Yeongdong Line and Taebaek Line to Gangneung, in Gangwon Province;
The Jungang Line to Andong in North Gyeongsang Province and Busan, to the southeast of Seoul.
In addition, this station is served by all ITX trains to/from Chuncheon Station on the Gyeongchun Line. However, the majority of trains do not terminate at this station but continue to Yongsan Station.

These videos should be used in classrooms in the U.S. and other countries that encourage diversity. It's good to see how the other half lives. It would break a lot of Barriers and show how much our cultures are alike and different but in the end we are all the same and striving for the same things. 8:31, did you guys know Korean drivers use the emergency blink as a means to say 'Thank you, or Sorry' to the other car behind? It is like an 'Excuse me' button, just to let you know.
crossoverer Actually in the U.S., people use emergency buttons only in really urgent situations, but in Korea, we sometimes use them to thank and excuse the car behind.

지하철을 한참 타고 다니던 이후에야 버스밖의 풍경이 얼마나 좋은지 깨달았던 기억이 있어요. 서울 시내 다니기는 좋아요~
This revealed a few things to me - 1. respect to anyone that drives a city bus, 2. that was the quietest ride on a bus I've ever witnessed and 3. the traffic patterns are interesting. Good to know the stops are also announced in English. Especially since my Korean isn't on point....YET! Thanks for peek into public transportation!🚍 Until next time.👋
Love this new view of getting around!! I was so impressed and in awe of the transit system in Seoul, everything just operated so efficiently !! The buses are nice and clean, the stops were nice with electronic signs for bus arrival times and routes!! I’m from the San Francisco Bay Area and our transit system stinks!! We could certainly learn a thing or two, or three, from Korea!!👍👍👏👏💚💚
Very nice POV video with a perfect view and an overview of traffic on the streets. I really appreciate the bus network in Seoul, the color scheme, frequent traffic, etc. I would like for more of these videos, for example from residential suburbs with tall towers, or a ride to Incheon Airport, etc.

Hi, walker! I enjoy with you of this journey, most bcs I don't have license driver and if I'll come to Seoul, I must know how can do that without car. I supose for everyone, no mater locals or tourists, it can be an important means of transport for this area. Really, we have a great day for walk. I understand, it's circulating civilized by bus and what is important, at the timetable. The Sun is amazing. I don't see to much on the windows of bus. Only huge buildings. OK! Thank you for walk! 그나저나 저 매일 272번타고 출근하는데 괜시리 막 반갑네요!
오호~~ 272 가 경유해가는 장소 중 좋은 곳이 많더라구요 ㅎㅎ 재밌게 시청해주셔서 감사해요 😊
영상 초반에 나오는 한성대 입구 근처.. 제가 어린 시절을 보냈던 곳입니다. 지금도 종종 방문하는 동네이기도 합니다. 그때 연고가 많아서 꽤 자주 방문하네요.
이렇게 영상으로 보니 새롭네요.ㅎㅎ
아주 오래전에는 중앙에 전차가 다니고 양쪽 끝 1차로씩, 전차철거 이후는 왕복 4차로, 이후 교통량이 늘어나 5차로에 중앙 가변차로, 나중에 확장해서 왕복 8차로, 중앙버스전용차로 생긴 이후로는 본 영상처럼 되었지요.
아, 중간에 4호선 공사할때는 복공판 깔고 왕복 2차로로, 승용차 등은 삼선교길이나 삼선중학교 인근 도로로 우회시켰지요. (그때 일방통행 생겨 지금까지) 주말에는 가끔 완전히 막고 공사한적도 있고요.
오~ 제가 좋아하는 동네 ㅎ 좋은 곳에 사셨네요

로얄미디 F/L 로얄시티 F/L 로얄럭셔리 F/L 차량들이 그린시티 CNG 뉴슈퍼에어로시티 F/L CNG 저상 및 고상 아폴로 1100 EV 하이거 하이퍼스 EV 차량으로 모두 대차된 관계로 NEW BS 090 NEW BS 110 차량들밖에 없네요. 남산순환버스들은 전부 전기버스에만 운행하네요.

제가 알기론 차선 위반은 아닌걸로 알아요 직진 금지 표시가 없으니 우회전 권장이라구 하던걸 봤습니다
불법은 아님 직진금지표시가 있거나 우회전 전용 이라고 쓰여있어야 불법

Why is the bus driver driving with his hazard light on even if he's at the bus stop or something?
to tell other drivers behind him that hes stopping
Hazard lights also means 'thank you' or 'sorry' in Koea. But some buses just turn on the hazard lights when they change lanes on a busy road to say 'the bus is changing lanes', 'sorry to cut in front', and 'thanks for waiting' all at the same time.
Buses and other bigger vehicles do that when they are coming to a stop, or to signal to the car behind them that the traffic light has turned red, because smaller cars behind larger cars can’t see the light.
